Hi,

A friend of mine has lost his passport. He has already received PER in October under NOC 2173. Applying for a new passport and getting a new one is gonna cause delay for him. What should he do.

Seniors please advise.

VO is NDVO.

Very tough question bro

I have to check if ndvo stamps copr on ration cards


(Dude, offcourse he has to get new passport and update local visa office after that )

first off Big Congratulations. YOu seem to have cleared n-1 step - all u need is a PPR request and your Visa. RPRF being charged is a positive to your application acceptance.


PCC is based on countries you have stayed not States

approach Min OF eXT . AFFAIRS - make a request letter - get it signed by official and then pass on to RPo for 24 hours passport issuance

remember to go with FIR

once u sort this - get to NDVo and submit passport - they cater to ur request same day

approach counterr 2 at ndvo - this is for if u received pspt rqst already - else simply email ndvo with new pspt number and copy of pspt

Its normal to apply for a new passport. But make sure you get one before Medical request expires (45 days from the date the MR are asked for). So get a passport as quickly as possible and make sure this time he doesnt loose his passport....

I got MR and Rprf mail some days back but mail doesnt mention about how to pay rprf fee to NDVO. For NDVO CIC website only mentions online payment. But on forum i saw few have made payment through DD.
Please share the link relating to how Rprf fee can be paid to NDVO. Nothing mentioned on rprf mail.
Also advise whether DD should be in CAD or INR

Very happy to see my CC getting charged today.
NOC: 2132
app received date : 24-Sep-2014.

The reason i am happy is, i had applied under this NOC last year but unfortunatly my application was sent late by my consultant and hence it was out of the cap. The sad part over here is because the consultant had written wrong PO box number of my house in dubai, the application never came back to me until this August 2014. It took me write several emails to CIC to receive my application back.

But still i didnt loose hope. I myself decided to re-send the application this time without the help of consultant and the application reached on 24-Sep, and the cc got charged today.

I check messages here on a every day basis and was able to track the exact status of applications getting charged which was very very helpful.

I am totally blank at this moment and do not know what the procedures are. Can anyone please tell me what the next procedures are as i dont want to go back to the stupid consultant again.

Is this CC getting charged a confirmation that my application has been accepted based on my points or is there any further verification process until i can get sure that my application is going to get accepted. According to my calculation i was scoring around 69 points.

Can i get any suggestions please. Thank you very much once again for creating this forum.

You can pay by DD also in Indian rupee and amount is 26.700/- per applicant
