Hi Everyone,

Firstly let me thank the creators of this forum and the people who have been tirelessly maintaining the global spreadsheet. This forum helped me a lot by restraining myself of the anxiousness and the easing myself by looking at the processing times, calculating, speculating various situations. I found all the answers to my questions, with out having to ask much. I received my PER mail about an hour ago and after sharing the news with the loved ones, I immediately updated the spreadsheet and started writing this. I thank everyone on this forum for a wonderful community you are and hope the best for everyone. Here is my time line

App received date: Aug 13
CC charge date: Nov 16
PER email date: Dec 02
NOC : 2281
Visa Office : New Delhi

Dear experts,
I am a software professional and could not get into FSW 2014.
I am looking forward for express entry.But it appears it is going to be very tough.

1) Do we need to find a job offer before we apply in the new system ?
2) Is there any chance of me getting through :
IELTS SCORE : S-6.5,W-7,L-8,R-9
Education : B-TECH - Obtained ECA from WES as a four year equivalent degree
Work exp :7 years
Age : 29
Spouse IELTS :S-6,W-6,L-6,R-6.
How much points will I get ?

They say: "* The maximum number of points is the same no matter the person's marital status."

So, yes, the program is not very clear yet. We will have to wait the first draws in order to understand everything better. Or at least the go-live of the system when points should be clear.

But I'm almost sure it is not a glorified work permit. I guess the draws will be something like this:
- If you have over 600 points you are automatically drawed; (you have a Job Offer or a Provincial Nominee);
- They will draw top X applicants from a few NOCs every now and then;

Finally: Optimist, you need to change your nickname . It doesn't suit you anymore .

agree with u guys - to me it sounds like EE will fail miserably ..

I should have based my comments as below :

EE will succed to those who are single (as few of you guys rightly quoted)

as well as for those with spouse being able to transfer foreign experience (i.e., those in Canada on Work Permit or Study permit with canadian experience)...

but pl do note this -

EE was designed not only to draw skilled aspirants but in conjunction with prevailing labour market - EE will work very closely to systems (ESDC +Statistics Canada) -- This is a JUST-IN-TIME system - which focuses on drawing candidates as per needs of market

Again at the applicant level - he or she must equip to be bright on language skills and other parameters ; however its going to be tough to meet the treshold

Yes - as rightly said - ratings will fail on this - 1/5.....

We will have to wait and see in Jan on first draw as to how this will be based on..

I m waiting for passport request form NDVO but also need to go abroad next month... should i let NDVO know about this? or should i come back after finishing my work of one month and then send my passport to NDVO whenevr they ask for?

Hey Manoj,

There are quite a few applicants waiting for PPR and there is no sign of news from NDVO regarding PPR's.

I would suggest you to travel abroad and come back after your work is done. Submit your passports when asked.

That's what i would have done.

My WES report was sent via UPS from canada to Nigeria on the 27th November. i have been tracking it and saw that it has been in KOELN GERMANY since 28th November for warehouse scan. please what do i do? i dont know why it should stay up to 4 days in Germany when time for submission is almost running out. i have sent mail to WES intimating them of this issue and i have also sent mail to UPS. Is there anything else I can do about it?

UPS should have sent an exception to you. Also, please confirm the weather report in Germany to be sure it's not a bad weather that's delaying flight movement.

DD encashed-16th Nov(As mentioned in the per mail)
Per received-2nd Dec

I am 15th Aug DD Applicant. no update yet...
