Hi Friends, :) :)

I have a question from my Canadian foreign workers who are currently in Canada on a Work Permit and has filled and application under FSWP.

My WP is about to expire in 3 months and i received a very first letter from CIO i.e. PER email.

Can anybody suggest me if i am eligible to apply for Bridging Work Permit.

As i am little confused, somebody has told me i can only apply for Bridging WP after i get Medical Request from CIC.

A bit confused.

Your response will be appreciated :| :-[

[Yes you are 100% eligible for bridging Open Workpermit (BOWP) as long as you have an ongoing PR application in process at CIO level (e.g PER email) as you had already stated. Are you on open work permit or closed WP (via LMIA)?

If you are on open workpermit and you are within the 4month expiry date, you can apply for BOWP now online, attach the application form, a cover letter (I can copy n paste example if you want), passport and you may (or may not) attach a copy PER email if you want (the VO MAY check if your PR application is truly in-process through their database)...pay their $155 and game on!!!. they should attend to you within 2-4weeks.

No panicking bro!!! I did the same ( I applied a week after cc charge fsw without PER, with 3weeks to visa expiry date).

NB: Your BOWP visa extension would begin on the date your application started processing, not from the date your current visa expired Smiley

Hi,

Today i received mail from London Visa Office. They asked me to resubmit Schedule A Background Declaration form starting from age 18 years. previously sent was for last 10 years.

What does this mean?

Am i going to get medical request? and When?

That's a revelation really :-) Truly impressive insight.
Canadian visas have no photo, be it TRV or any other counterfoil.

And having said that, I can post here plain text with a timeline for Canadian citizenship and claim I received Cit. test date. But people will say 'bullocks' because VOs review cases in FIFO order and either complex or not, the checks should be complete for early May applicants (according to other VO timelines). Yet we have NDVO pick three guys out of thousands, who have not been active members here. Sounds fishy.

Diplomatru,
1) NDVO is working on applications and it should issue PPR's soon. Even CPC-O kept a hold on PPRs for last one and half month.
2) Many of our forum members are not updating SS after they receive PPR from Local VO. (I have noticed 3 cases for CPC-O)
3) may people who received MR are waiting to collect PCC's from various countries. Many have not submitted all the required documents due to longer time in getting PCC.
4) Hopefully we should see a lot of PPRs this month..:)

Hey everybody,

Just a comment / question.

It was my understanding that validating the contents of a Reference Letter was done after charging, and that at the Completeness Check CIO only checked if the letter was there.

However I know somebody that got his file back without CC charging.

Have we seen more cases like this one?
Not exactly,
Before charging, CIO needs to make sure that the applicant has at least one-year working experience of the NOC s/he mentioned.
So those who got their applications returned before CC charge are highly unlikely to have provided a proper LoR to convince Immigration officer that s/he has at least one year valid experience in that NOC.
After charging, CIO needs to verify all the experiences the applicant provided to calculate the points s/he gets to determine if s/he is eligible for further process.

If you want to stay 100% safe, then don't move the money before the Visa. Even if 99.9% bank statement was not requested, there is an 0.1% where it would be.

Thanks bro..

Its true..But I am unable to continue..Just doing big amount transactions..Little bit worried :(
