Wonderful members of this forum. I just dont know how to stop praising GOD..Just recieved PER. 8th August Applicant noc 2172.. Now i start to pray again for MR....anyone from the Nairobi Visa Office...need to know how much time i can expect to wait...

Additionally, Application has already moved to VO so there is nothing CIC can do now...

I beg to differ. There is absolutely no risk in cancelling your credit card to avoid getting charged for the second application. CIC is just another merchant and they DONOT have power over the credit card companies.

Why would CIC get annoyed and take it negatively against you if they can't charge you? This is just unfounded fear. They treat individual application individually, so the second application will simply be returned without any effect on the first application. The first application isn't even in CIC's hand at this point anyways. It's already in VO's hand.

Also, the problem with trying to cancel the second application by contacting CIC would be that it will be too late. CIC only responds in about 30-40 days, that would be AFTER cc has been charged.
