Hello guys,

I have been a passive member of this forum and I must confess you guys are doing a terrific job. More power to your elbows sirs and Mas smiley

I'm an October 27th applicant, NOC 1111. I just found out I made a mistake while filling out my IMM 5046 form (Additional Family information form). I'm the principal applicant with my wife as an accompanying spouse. We both filled out the form but on both forms, my name comes on the applicant column, while her name is in the spouse column. I'm just realizing her name should be on the applicant column on her form. All other information were correctly filled.

My worry is this, will this mistake warrant outright rejection of my application?? if yes, how can i correct it before my application goes in for completeness check next month? undecided ? if i want to send an amended IMM5046 form, how do I go about it? please this is very urgent...help a brother please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is anyone aware if any application from any category has been returned (or applicant informed via email) because of CAP filled?

Application received date: 1st Aug 2014
DD encashed: 10 Nov'14 (As per the email)
PER received : 27th Nov 2014


Thanks everyone for the help i received from this forum.

This was the third time i have filled for Permanent residence. 1st time got refused due to Cap was full last year, 2nd time WES was not original,

3rd time it is a success finally.

As some discussion going on i would like to ask one question that once we got PR stamping on passport , can we land
any city of canada (Except quebec) or we have to land in city which we have written in our application ??

YOU CAN LAND ANYWHERE ...BUT, SHOULD BE IN CANADA ( EXCEPT QUEBEC ) ;D

It better to land in the city which you choose as intended to live. But there is no binding like you have to land in that particular city. You can land wherever you want (except Quebec)

Say for example, XX person wrote "Calgary" in intended city to live, but he changed his plan and choose to live in Toronto. So he planned to land in Toronto stay there for some time and then move to Calgary if he didn't like Toronto. He can surely do that, not issues with it. There are many more examples.

You may send corrected form thru courier with covering letter mentioning details and your name and dob and NOC category..

[size=20pt] GUYS IM BACK!! After weeks of depression because of my refusal letter 20 days ago, I am finally back. I just want to share this experience to everybody who got a refusal letter or NER (instead of PER) and think that the refusal is unfair. I tried calming myself first, weighed all the points that CIC did not consider, and tried to put everything in an EMAIL or Fax it to CIO..Just be brief and concise..and SEND IT..wait patiently and still if there is no response after a week..Consult a Barrister Lawyer, the one who handles Judicial Review Case against Unfair CIC decisions...Present your case for Judicial Review because you have 15-60 day after you receive the refusal to contest the decision of any Visa Officer... The downside is the lawyers fee is 250$/hr...so I presented my case to this lawyer and even him was infuriated because I got 75 point total instead of 65 as per CIO refusal letter..So he prepared a letter stating all the facts and points and have me signed and attached all the supporting documents and sent it to the address found in my refusal letter... One clause I remember is "I HAVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK A JUDICIAL REVIEW IF NO ANSWER WILL BE RECEIVED FROM CIO".. The thing is He did not even charge me for that day and were chatting 2 hours about the case. He didn't charge me because he felt my depression as well and he is convinced that CIO messed up things for me..So just the other day...I received an email with a POSITIVE ELEGIBILTY REVIEW..now I am waiting for my medical...JUne 18 Applicant here...CC charged October 7.... Hope this helps..

hello! first time to post but a long time lurker here...

I just need an urgent advice please. My application was sent back for the reason that the WES credential assessment I have submitted was a photocopy not the original one! I felt soooo stupid for this

I could send back my application with my original ECA...my question is do I need to fill up all the forms all over again or I could use the old forms that I have submitted earlier?
