I received my Passport with Visa and COPR.
My timeline is as below:

8th May 2014 Applicant, LVO, NOC:2131
Medicals Done: 29-OCT-2014
Passport returned from Riyadh VO within one week time.

There is another thing that your friend can do....if his file number has been issued, please ask him to email CIC immediately about this referring his file number and also he can send a New Fee Payment Form mentioning his application number immediately.

I hope that helps.

It would take cic around 60 days to read the email.

With the Blessings of my DAD and almighty God, My credit card gets charged today morning...

My App Date: Sep 10th
CC charged Date: Nov 26th
NOC: 2172.

Thanks to everyone in this forum, without you guys its impossible for me to get succeed...
Now the real wait starts for my PER...
Still miles to go....

1 applicant of 15th sept 2173 also reported for his CC to be charged today.. Thats really adding positivity to the 2173 and 2171 sept and oct applicants who are still waiting... Fingers crossed!! :'(

How could this be possible.Are you sure.13/08 august applicant reported yesterday about return of application due to Cap filled.Same has been reported by other one as well 19/08 august applicant.

Might be they have charged mistakenly as they did for 2174 august applicant.
