Just called Thomas Cook. They said my DD has been encashed on 14 November

NOC : 2173
Application recieve date : 07 August 2014

But I have not yet recieved any PER

Simar , i once had similar doubt, but it was cleared when i got my MR after 62 days . So all you would need is patience and belief in GOD .

Indian Passport renewal Query

My wife's (principal applicant) passport is slightly damaged. We are currently in Chennai, but do not have any address proof. We can get passport from Telangana with my passport as address proof (It has our permanent address). Do you think this would lead to any problem in Canada PR as we would have different address on passport different with the addresses mentioned in forms? Please advise.

Hey, thomas cook is not a person. It is 3rd party vendor which usually deal with forex. He might made his DD from them .thats why he called thomas cook.

I dont think it will be an issue.. But you will have to update the local VO after PER receipt via CSE or after MR. However, let other experts comment.
