i am really worried.

some are saying cic is charging on july files jst now. is it true?
and my dd validity has alredy expired. what will happen now?

Surely dd expired will lead to return.
Please prepare a new application now, wait old one back then send new one.

I am the secondary applicant applying along with spouse on December 1st week , but my IELTS report ( 5 points ) will expiry on January 2015 .. will it affect on point calculation /rejection ?

Please reply....

"One year validity starts from your test date(written on the IELTS RESULT) to the date of your application to CIO" is what I read from some older posts.

Visit the centre personally. They asked me proof that original is with CIC. I got second copy by writing a request letter that states original is with CIC, submitted copy of Courier bill and DD as proof of applying to FSW. Paid 250/- INR and offered to collect second from the centre personally. Got second copy in a week. My advice, visit the centre personally, people @ call centre would be rude and will misguide you that second copy cannot be provided unless the original is lost and you filed FIR.

It is not true.......... if it was required, CIC would have mentioned it in their minimum qualification.. isnt it?

i recieved my PER on 1st OCT...WAITING FOR MY MEDICALS.. GUESS MY BACKGROUND CHECK IS GOIN GON..

I GOTA DOUBT.... MY FD GOT MATURED YESTERDAY. AND BANK HAS AUTOMATICALLY TRANSFERED IT TO MY SAVINGS...

HOW DOES CIC CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT, DO THEY JUST LOOK AT THE BANK STATEMENT OR??? DO I HAVE TO

CIC do not do physical verification of your POF with banks, if they have any doubt regarding the same they only contact applicant either with New POF or Bank statement for a specific period or ask for explanation of funds....

So do not worry wherther FD or funds lying in your account both are same in terms of POF...

Wat u mean with secondary applicant, is your spouse the main applicant, if yes - Ielts priorty points/scores will be his/her.
If you are accompanying him/her & without ur ielts score Overall points are covered u r safe

If anybody from Punjab can tell me the procedure for PCC , Like I got married 11 months back and I don't have any residence proof for my spouse. And marriage certificate is not acceptable.

Anybody here who faced the same issue. please suggest

Dear Raman, I got married 11 months back and at time of application, it was just 7-8 months. For police verification, one should have been living at that place for past one year. I got it done from my spouse's city and mine from my city and sent the PCC. You can visit your local PS and they will say that it will be issued from her/his hometown only(this is what I learnt from them when I try to apply from my hometown).

I am 7th may applicant.. PER received=August 5, Local visa office start processing= 7th Sept.
Visa office= NDVO.
and till now NO MEDICAL REQUEST..

So, in this case, Can all of you please tell us the probability to get medical request? OR how visa office (NDVO) reject any application?
