Finally received most awaited mail from CIC today..

application received date: 23rd July
mode of payment: DD
NOC code: 2173
PER: 18th Nov

Enquired with the Bank multiple times regarding DD encashment, infact even today, but they told that DD was still outstanding.

Thanks to Century, Ashif bhai and all the forum members for the valuable information on the forum without which I could have never sent my application .. thanks again !! 8) 8) 8) 8)

Hello,

I just got an email from CPC-OTTAWA office requesting FBI Clearance certificate. I have already submitted my application to FBI office, but according to their website due to IT upgrades it is taking approximately 12 weeks.
The email said that i have to submit documents within 60 days. Has anyone able to request an extension? Also can i just email them and request extension or do i have to send them a letter?

One of member in other forum got said he got this reply from CPC-O when he requested for extension:

"I got a response from CPC-Ottawa when I asked about extension for FBI certificates. They asked me to wait until end of 60 days to request for an extension.

Any experience from any members? "

Below are some detail what I have done and I would suggest -
1) Roles and Responsibilities of one reference letter for which I am claiming for 3.5 years matched only 30% with CIC NOC detail.. I have talked to my ex-company and got a new reference letter with 80% match and sent it later on 20-Oct.. I don't know whether CIC accepted it or not, but I got PER finally
2) I would suggest everyone to use DD rather than CC, because there might be some risk of payment issues
3) Follow every step mentioned in Document check list.. which is our source of truth and bible for PR application
4) I follow this forum almost everyday for at least 30 min to see what are current updates and the trend
5) I did all by myself with the help of fellow forumties and didn't got for consultancies

Try calling CIC to request for your UCI no which will enable you check ur status online.No cause for panic yet

I'm June 5th app too & waiting for email from ottawa : let's keep our fingers crossed mate

There is something weird happening with the spreadsheet - i never updated it to my MR date
I just tried to go to Edit Spreadsheet page and my MR date is not filled :-X

Admins please correct this - i have not got my MR yet

Just a reminder to all those applicants from october and applicants who are yet to apply' Document checklist is updated to 10-2014. 08-2014 is obselete and not to be used..

Should I be worried since I passed my package on October 1 and it reached cio on October 7 there is no chance for me to change the document checklist..... Any one?

Wrong. Officially FSW2104 program is upto April 30th 2015 as per ministerial instructions, unless cut short by a new instruction.
