Hello All,

I am 24th July applicant and applied under NOC 1212 my HDFC bank dd is not en cashed yet.

I have called CIC many times but they don't reveal any information and its been almost 25 days still no response of an e-mail from CIC.

Please advise what should I do now.

Bro I can understand your anxiety but, you should stay calm, calling CIC would not be of any help and they will reply on your email after 45 days. Many files takes unusual time due to compexities of application or may approval of senior officer is required. Many June mid have recently got PERs.

DD encashment takes some extra time and many times bank information is not reliable as in past many applicants reported that their DD has not been encashed as per their bank but they received PER.

So stay positive for the good news and pray hard. .... God bless you buddy

I doubt you could make it... 2173 is already capped out. Considering the completeness checks i assume end August or 1st Week September could be touch n go...

My timeline and background of my application.

I have shown 3.2 years of employment experience and 1.1 year of self employed experience. The reference letters from the employer doesn't include the salary nor I have provided any salary slips / appointment letters. After this I recognize it and sent the additional salary certificates which was received on 2-Oct. I do not know whether CIC has attached it to my main application or not. For the self employed experience I have provided the 3rd party reference letters, payment slips, shop establishment certificate from government, professional tax slips, rent agreement, office snaps.

Application Date: 21-July
Got reply from CIC: 3-Nov (Reply of my application status: "We received your application, Notification will be sent in due course.")
Call to CIC to know the UCI No: 7-Nov (Luckily I got the UCI No from customer call center)
ECAS Status update on: 14-Nov
PER Received: 17-Nov

I got my PER on 24th sept.. and my file was received by CIC on 29th May..
till date i have not received any further response..
also i want to know about the further estimated time CIC will take to complete the visa process..

People around your application dates are getting MR now from NDVO (assuming your's is also same). Stay positive and wait for the good news for your application.

Collect as many proofs as possible:
- Photos, event recorded movies
- Passport Copy if spouse name is written
- Marriage Certificate
- Bank account if address mentioned in that is as yours or any joint account
- Any residential proof like agreements or bills
- Any government document stating address for both same

Question: First of all what do you think why this question is raised at first place? Did you submit marriage certificate?

I am going to send my application tomorrow hopefully as everything is complete. Just a couple of questions before I send it:

1. I have attached additional sheets where space given on forms wasn't enough. Do I have to sign those sheets? As per CIC instructions, applicant just has to put his/her name, form title and question no. addressed.

2. There are a couple of things in my supporting documents which I wanted to elaborate on, therefore, I shall attach some explanatory notes. Do I write them as a letter to CIC, address someone particularly and sign it OR just give write the statement.
