It is mentioned on the official website that:

"Note: As of May 1, 2014, there is an overall cap of 25,500 for new federal skilled worker applications. This includes a cap of 500 applications from PhD students. There are also sub-caps of 1,000 for each of the 50 eligible occupations. The caps do not affect people with a valid job offer. These are the last applications we will accept under the current system before Express Entry launches in January 2015."

Hello everyone I hope you guys can help me with my douth

I've been living in Canada for more than 1 year and my VO supposed to be Mexico, but I have read that they can change it to Ottawa if you are living here, So my question is how do I know if they changed my VO or not, I got PER on Nov 7.

If you are legally admitted Canada for at least one year then VO should be Ottawa.

Just got my PER from my consultant, I was so upset as I had been asking my bank
about my DD encashment and have been told that DD was still outstanding
Bank confirmed this on 6th Nov, 10th Nov, 12th Nov and 15th Nov and made me wonder
if everything was ok with my application.

Got a big surprise today morning (IST) got my PER + ECAS status also updated with first line.

Timeline
Date of Application- 22nd July
NOC-2131
Mode of payment-DD
DD-encashed- 6th Nov 2014
PER- 16th NOv 2014 (Recd by my Consultant in Vancouver on sunday)
ECAS updat-16th Nov 2014

Because police officer told me at the time of PCC that it will take one month for you to get PCC from PSK after Police station verification !

Getting PCC from PSK is a simple and straight forward process. (Provided your address is same as in the passport, and you are applying to the PSK which serves your address region)
Fill the PCC form online
Take the form to PSK Approx time is 2-3hrs. (Between 9-11am) any working day.

noc - 2172
mode - DD

But application status shows 'In Process" from lasst 2-3 days. What could be the reason for not getting the email? Please help

Most of time if status is "in process" you get PER, I find no reason to worry.. Enjoy

we started processing yr application on 12th november 2014..
what does it mean ? my application reached on 9th june and per recieved on 7th october 2014..

BY THE GRACE OF ALMIGHTY ALLAH I GOT MY MEDICAL REQUEST TODAY

Now my question is :
1) They have just sent medical forms....no RPRF and PCC??? and my ECASE is also same as earlier... we have received.....
2)Is it a matter of concern? or they will ask for interview???...please some one suggest??

Ans:
1. Heard from others that it is quite normal procedure of LVO
2. No one can predict and interview. Chances are very very low. Hence, take it easy and go ahead with what has been asked.

BUT PCC need to be specifically taken for Canada immigration as there is a sentence in PCC which says there are no adverse records against him that can prevent him from taking any visa for Canada.
2. If Yes, i hold the PCC issued for Australia by local PSK office, can the same PCC serve the purpose ?? - NO, as wording will change.

i am still waiting for WES evaluation.

Then when you fill form do mention that you were unemployed during that period,...

Main thing is that they want you to mention that in last 10yeRs how many yours you worked.. Gap doesn't effect ur case... But u need to mention what u did in that gap.. Just say unemployed ... Don't worry.. You will b fine
