Guys .... louie_tatz1 says his file was rejected after getting PER as he was allotted 65 points instead of 72 he claimed. Is it possible to get get rejected for not qualifying on basis of points after PER not for any other reason. I think this is the first case were a person got PER means 67 or more points at PER level and later was reduced to 65. Also I think after PER rejection mail comes from VO not CIO. after PER role of CIO is done with. But his rejection mail too was from CIO. Anyone knows something like this withe someone known. Rejection after PER for lack of 67 only.......any thoughts

Are you sure he received PER?

As I recall he never mentioned receiving PER, but he received negative eligibility review (NER) by CIO because of the lack of points.

First of all...sorry to hear this.

but very interesting insight as CIO charged, issued PER and later from CIO only, person got rejection due lack of immigration points..!!

this seems like after issuance of PER, file was scrutinized again before sending to LVO and this was the time, when VOfficer overruled previous decision.

In case of rejection, how does CIC notify the applicant? By email or by snail post?

basically, by snail post, but if you inquire them, they will reply by email without stating the cause of rejection.

Whether anyone given reference letter in letter head signed by colleague & got MR or Visa.

NDVO not accepting anyone sign other than HR. They scrutinize & refusing such case.

Whether plain paper reference letter with visiting card will be replaced in VO for letter head reference letter signed by colleague.
15th Aug applicant, if sent to CIO I don't think CIO will replace.

I dont think NDVO is refusing the case where experiance letter is signed by immediate boss on company letter head.

Dear Experts,
I am from India and my application was received by CIO on 22 October 2014. I had following queries:
1. In Schedule A background/declaration, details of my education I had mention Elementary/Primary Education as 12 years (up to 10th standard) and Secondary/high School as 02 years (11th and 12th Standard). In the field of study I had mentioned Science in both field is it OK?
2. Or I have to resend the entire Schedule A background/declaration form by correcting years as Elementary/Primary Education 09 years and Secondary/high School as 05 years.
3. What should I mention in field of study?
4. I had send name affidavit too but the print was on legal size paper (216 x 356 mm) instead of A4 size paper (210 x 297 mm) is it OK?
Anyone with similar case and gone through for PER/MR?
I am worried, Pleas reply urgently
