Experts please help - VERY URGENT

My Application dated 13-May-2014 - has been returned stating that my duties dint match NOC 2173.

now I would like to apply under 2172 making simple changes to my duties in my reference letters.

would my old reference letter duties and responsibilites would be matched by CIC??

Please confirm ASAP.

appreciating your support in Advance

No body can advice with 100% confidence when answer involves guessing the steps which nobody knows about. You should keep it simple. As long as ref letter and details mentioned on it are genuine, you're likely to be fine. If CIO suspect something fishy, things could go bad. That's it!

You can send them an inquiry after 8 weeks, they mentioned that. so there is no problem to ask about your status.

Thanks for the info.. I just wanted confirmation..

Well to the both of you, my application was received on 30th July and i contacted CIC, the lady was nice to give me my UCI number, which actually doesnt mean anything, but to say the file is gathering dust? naaah i dont think so. someone is attneding to your files already, matter of fact you both have UCI numbers already. just keep your fingers crossed. and lets all hope for the best.

Thanks. Does getting UCI number at this stage (prior to payment charge) helps as in completeness checks have been completed? Did you manage to get more information if UCI allocation means first completeness check has been completed? Best regards

Hi Friends,
I have a question regarding the UCI number.
I have traveled to Canada before on a Business Visa. Does that mean that i already have a UCI number. If so, how can i get mine? Will this be mentioned on the Visa (on passport)?

Cheers,
Vick

"Schedule 3: Economic Classes – Federal Skilled Worker Class (IMM 0008-Schedule 3)" I have a query.

1. Under Q.12 (b) Do we put our job titles in there under 'Occupation'.

2. Also I've a total of 2.4 (1.6 + 10 months) years of experience. Now, the form has 'check boxes' for 1 yr, 2-3 yr, 4-5 yr and so on. Now how do I show the 10 months. Also, another exp is of 1 yr 6 months. How do I show these fractional experiences?

3. What do I write under 'main duties'. Ther isn't too much of a space.

Thanks

Dude i gotta tell you, i do not have the thinnest idea of what getting a UCI means, from file loging to completeness check to whatever else, i do not have the faintest idea. so @adey786 trust me i would give a lifetime, an arm and a leg to know what exactly getting a UCI means, between i am not too enthused right now, i just want the heck of my credit card charged then i can rave up my engine. fingers crosssed lol :P

Can my understanding be right for the following steps?

1. When they open the envelope; they assign a UCI.
2. When completeness check is done; they assign a file number
3. Payment charge
4. Eligibility review - PER

I will agree with you right there 100%..... there you go!

Hi,

Does anyone knows if CIC has stopped processing applications. The last update was made on 10th Oct 14. Since then there's no change in CAP details.

Yes. It will be mentioned on Visa stamp in "xxxx-xxxx" format.

Guys 2 quick questions:

1 - Did they stop updating the caps? Does anyone know why?

2 - Can I submit my application in January? Or does the program end in december this year?
