Yes it is a very good question. You can atleast manage to set up a final round of interview if not bag the actual job itself. This will give you a better overview of what is in store there in terms of job prospects.

The major issue in applying from here is you wont have a local contact number and hence Canadian employers may not be able to contact you over phone which is what generally happens.

Anyways this shouldn't stop you from applying, the earlier the better!!!

Hi Brother (assuming here - sorry),

There is a very slim chance that people will land jobs without being physically present for an interview. Reputed performers in arts, sciences and sports stand a greater chance. If normal skilled worker & applying in the Canadian branch of your MNC, possible. If employer knows you from before - likely. But I cannot think of any situation where a Canadian employer would not ask for references & a face to face interview before giving you a job offer. There are exceptions, few and far between and generally they prove the rule that you cannot "land" a job before you "land". Each persons experience is different, I have not found a job despite trying very very hard but that's just me....

Regards,
Manoj

Admin,

Please enter a column in SS regarding Applicants who sent their MR, RPRF and PCC to respective VO w r t sent date and received date after receiving MR requests.

I think this column is also useful for better projection of processing times.

All forum members please update the SS after you have sent the respective documents to VO after MR email. SO that admin will have better understanding.

I am May 7th applicant, got PER on 11th August waiting for MR from NDVO....

Hello Guys

I am 15 may applicant(application received), NOC : 2281, PER on Sept 5, 2nd line updated just today, which says : "We started processing your application on October 30, 2014". When should i expect a MR, any ideas ??

Thanks in Advance

FSW 2014 is over for me .

Shockingly, mm DD was encashed and after that they send the mail saying your Work Profile dose not match the NOC , which is weird because my profile actually matched the NOC:2173 and I made my work exp certificates keeping 2173 duties in mind .

I applied through consultant this time , may be they messed it smwhr, I am gonna apply in JAN on my own .

All the best
Cheers

Hi All,

I have FBI pcc dated June 2014 that could not be sent along with the application because FBI had taken too much time and I did not want to delay my FSW application.

Last I was in US was in 2007.

I read somewhere that PCC is valid for 12 months. Do you think that my June 2014 FBI pcc will suffice if the PCC is requested before June 2015?

Thanks.
