Want to share my experience of getting RPRF- DD , PCC ( India & UAE) & Medical

PCC from Sharjah

1) Went to Sharjah Industrial Area Police station & enquired about PCC about the documents required & fees applicable.

2) Documents were
• Passport copy & visa stamped copy
• Emirates ID copy
• Fill the application form (provided by them)

3) Fees was AED 55 only, but has to be paid from E-dirham Card. You can get this card from Tasheel , Immigration or NBAD branches. Get the recharge done in it & payment can be done at police station using it.

4) After providing all the above documents, you can collect it in 3 working days .

The procedure was very smooth & hassle free.

PCC from India
I got it done from SP office in Rajasthan . It would have been a long process but I had a reference in SP Office & he helped me get the document easily within 7 days ( including festive days)
1) Documents :-
• Passport copy
• Address proof ( Voter ID, Driving License, Ration Card etc). Attach as many as you can.
• Date of birth proof - 10th Marksheet
• 2 Photographs
• Fill the application form

2) Fees was INR 200/- for me & INR 300/- for my wife ( as she was not from Rajasthan) .

3) Total time expected to get the certificate cas be assumed as 7 – 15 Working days.

Medical from Ruby Hall Clinic, Pune.

1) You need to go to Building no. 5 , First floor. Ask there about Canada Visa Medical process. They will give you some Forms. Fill the forms provided by them & submit it along with the fees i.e INR 4100/- per adult. I paid them through Debit card, but they accept all Debit, Credit cards & even Cash)

2) After that the process will start & you need to get the following done:
• Chest Xray
• Give Blood & Urine Sample
• Eye Test
• Physical Verification ( BP, Height , Weight etc). Even they would ask you about family history for any kind of diseases.

3) You are done with all the processes & they will hand over you
• Receipts of the payment done by you
• IMM 1017 forms duly filled , signed & stamped by them

DD from ICICI Bank

I prepared a DD from ICICI Bank . Details are as follows:
In favour of: Canadian High Commission
Amount: 53400/- ( For me & my wife)
Payable at: New Delhi

Just curious to know though it's still a long way to go. Is only the principal applicant under FSW PR allowed to work full time in Canada or can the dependent spouse also work?

Hello Seniors,

I sent my application under FSW 2014 (2172) on 14th October(received).

I just got to know that my Bank has replaced my old credit card(as per some RBI guidelines) and the new card has been sent to my address. The card info in the new card is different from that in the old card. Old card will be active only till Dec 31'st 2014.

I am seriously depressed about it as i am sure the CC wont get charged within that. Is there anything that you can suggest to overcome this?

1. I heard that we can send the fee payment form with a cover letter. WIll that work?
2. Is it better to resend the application? If so, is there any means i can make it in the CAP 2172?

I am trying my best to contact the bank and get the validity increased but I dont think citibank is gonna listen to me as they used to.

Please help me

Dear seniors,

I really have 2 critical questions, and need to know your opinions:

1- My file has been delivered to CIC at 29/07/2014, so I am expecting my CC to be charged within the next couple of weeks, while my IELTS report expires at 17/11/2014, will that be an issue or they just consider the IELTS expiry date at the date of receipt or the date of completeness check cuz in this case I will be fine?

2- I applied under NOC 1111, and while filling the economic skilled worker form, I answered question 12-a about the primary occupation as "Chief accountant" "1111" instead of "Accountant and financial auditor" "1111", is that going to be an issue putting into consideration that chief accountant is one of the example titles mentioned under NOC 1111?

Neither RBI nor any Bank will share any customer data with any third party. If VO has any queries, they will check with the principal applicant.

Dear Same thing happened with my friend. He is using icici card, After he sent the application in july, he got new credit card mentioning that his old card will get deactivated in a month's time. he spoke to customer care and told the problem. he also wrote them emails regarding the same. His problem was resolved. his payment got debited on 24th October. You talk to citibank people and tell them about your problem. they will definitely help. i am also using citi bank credit card. bank has helped me wherever i needed their help. so write to them and one more thing, even if bank agrees to your request, keep trying doing transactions on your card, As my friend's card got blocked in between also, he then spoke to customer care again and gave them old references, his card got opened in an hour. so don't get depressed, go for a solution. i m sure your problem will be resolved. How many days do they take to encash the dd

For question 2 important is job description rather than title hence you will be fine.

Are you asking about HDFC in NS or Bank of Nova Scotia?

If DD is made in Canada there is no expiry date for DD.
And The DD is cashed in one Business day.

I hope that is the way they are looking as I included most of the duties under NOC 1111 in all LOR supplied with the application file

iN THE PAST, THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE MANAGED TO LINK ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTS TO THEIR APPLICATIONS EVEN BEFORE RECEIVING THEIR PER. HENCE I SUGGEST YOU DO THE SAME AND GET A DD DONE ASAP AND SEND IT TO CIO. ALSO PROVIDE AS MUCH INFORMATION AS POSSIBLE SO THAT THEY LINK IT UP TO YOUR APPLICATION AND DO JUSTIFY YOUR REASON FOR SENDING THE SAME. I SUGGEST YOU CAN GO THROUGH SOME PREVIOUS POSTS RELATING TO THESE AND YOU ALSO CAN REACH OUT TO PEOPLE LIKE OSCAR AND OTHER SENIORS IN THIS FORUM.
