Hi everyone,
just an update: There were many cases when one invalid entry (with obviously wrong/mismatched dates) in the spreadsheet breaks the charts and the estimates. Moreover, Google Forms does not provide enough flexibility to tell people right away that they're entering invalid dates. As a workaround, I've implemented a filter, so that obviously invalid entries won't affect the statistics, the charts and the estimates anymore. It's not a really comprehensive solution, because sometimes even a human can't tell if there's a typo in a date, - but it helps a lot.

Validation error descriptions are now visible in the "Validation Errors" column (index AU), so diligent entry owners can read it and fix their entry. There are not so many invalid entries, so most probably validation error value for your entry will be empty - which means your entry is fine.

Before today, an older built-in functionality has been used to indicate errors with a red triangle in a corner of an invalid cell. It has been slowing down the spreadsheet and it's now replaced by the new optimized implementation, so, as a bonus, the spreadsheet just got a bit faster :)
thank you so much for the great SS.

Hi,

My application was rejected and returned on the grounds that there was insufficient evidence that I performed the actions described in lead statement for the occupation described in NOC 2171. My job history on the application was as below:-

Job#1 : NOC 2173 (3 years)
Job#2 : NOC 2171 (6 months)
Job#3 : NOC 2173 (6 months)
Job#4 : NOC 2171 (4 years, current job)

I got a detailed letter from my current employer for responsibilities/duties matching the NOC 2171 but I still don't have descriptive Service Letter for Job#2 as the HR Dept of that organization is not helping. I have 2 questions as below:-

1. On the returned Generic application form, the CIO have written the UCI number in pencil. While applying again, should I mention this UCI number in the new application. Will it be beneficial?

2. My Job#2 (NOC 2171) also had responsibilities similar to NOC 2173. So should I modify my work experience history in the new form and mention Job#2 as 2173 instead of 2171. Because as per the rejection letter, CIO will not refer/scrutinize work experience other than primary NOC applied for.

Please advise as I don't want to be disqualified due to misrepresentation.

Really sorry for you. :(

In IMM008 Schedule 3 form, for question 12 a which asks the primary NOC to be used for assessment, I am assuming you just mentioned 2171. Would you have got 67 points with the years of experience from current job alone (NOC 2171), the one for which you provided a detailed letter? If yes, then I am confused why the letters from your other employers would affect your eligibility.

Friends, correct me if I am wrong. I am under the assumption that as long as you have reference letters to support your primary NOC (the one enter in the box in question 12 a, in this case 2171) and that alone would help u get 67 points, it is not required to provide strong reference letters for other NOCs (in this case 2173) that you might have had experience in.

Hello Everyone,

Need help from you all.

My Application received date is 15th July and my CC is not charged yet and i didn't received my rejected application too.

I have seen 16th July applicants getting charged today...

Is there any hope for me? :-\ :-\ :-\

Looking at our own experience and that of forum members, you should hold your nerves atleast for another two weeks and then take the initial recourse of any PLAN B.. i assume you have already sent the mail to CIC for seeking update to your application ?

Yeah I feel the same. You only have to provide detailed letters for your primary NOC. But, if you have worked more than once in your primary NOC, you should provide details for both times I guess, as this sounds more logical to me.

Hi Friends,

This is my first post to this forum, I am Juy 16th applicant , my CC has not charged yet. little worried.

I didn't attach BCs of mine and my spouse, I attached school marksheets though I was not aware of affidavit at that time, so couldn't attach it. Will it have any impact?

Regards,
VJ

Step 1- Completion Check

* You fullfill the basic eligibility criteria for applying FSW (i.e 1 year work experience in a single occupation in last 10 years. This experience must be in eligible occupation)
* You fulfill the minimum criteria (i.e. IELTS score CLB-7 that means you must score 6 in each module AND ECA by an approved agency by CIC)
* All forms as per Document checklist signed and properly filled.

If you fulfill all the above three points, they will charge your fees(DD or CC). | If you do not fulfill the above three points, they will return your application package
|
* Once your cc or dd charged you will see status on website only if you have | * You will not receive any email / any file number/ any UCI.
UCI already- "Your application has been received on dateXX-YY-ZZZZ" | * You will get your fees

Step 2- Application Review

* They follow point grid system to check for 67 points
* They will check your IELTS score
* They will check your ECA report -score
* They will check your work experience is relevant to NOC or not and then- score
* They will check your BC-score
* They will chekk your Adaptabilty/spouse IELTS or etc score

if you score 67 or more | If you score less than 67
You will get PER (Positive Eligibility Review)email with UCI &File no. | You will get NER(Negative Eligibility Review) email with file number and UCI
Your file will transfer to local VO | You will not get your fee
| Your will not get your application package back. Your file will be closed
| They will Keep your IELTS and ECA in their record. You can submit photocopy of IELTS next time.

Guys your expert comments pls

If husband and wife had applied in two diff. NOCs and both get PER.
What will happen if we don't withdraw any one from both apps.
Will cic start processing both the files or they will ask to withdraw any one of them?

Thanks

Hi Dudes,

I was wondering how can applicants know the status of two applications under FSW? I mean, if people sent two applications under the same or different NOCs, does the online system can display both status for the applicant or just one of them? what happens to the other application?

It may or may not have any impact on your application. The chances for the latter are more. If they are kind enough to process your application with incomplete documents for your birth date and parents name evidences, they will ask for missing documents otherwise your application might be returned to you mentioning the same reason. BCs are meant to provide evidence for your birth dates and full names of both of your parents (dad and mum) as well as your place of birth. You have to wait for their response.

In this case two files are created with two unique E******* numbers that are used to access ECAS.

A question-
Once CC is charged, is there a way to check the application status on CIC website?
