This is my first FSW application. I was a student in Canada before and I was provided a UCI. Expect C-check to be done within 84 days from lock-in date and charge in 108 days from lock-in date as well

YEs, even if you have visited as family, student or worker.. you would be given a client id(same as UCI).. it stays same for every purpose... its your identity for Canada.

Most of the posts here are regarding "CC" being charged, but there is less info on "DD" encashment in terms of its latest status. Can someone help?

1)Is there anyone here whose "app received" date was July 11 and his/her DD got encashed? Last checked, SS had little mention about this. May be people have not updated

2) Some people have posted they came to know of their DD encashment date? How and from where can this be known? I don't think my bank would be having this info.

Can any body tell whether it has to be in the que again for processing if i send it back

after removing discrepancies or not....

Yesterday, I talked to the person at DD issuing bank regarding DD encashment info, he told me that the issuing bank transfers the money to Royal Bank of Canada when the DD is issued to the applicant. However, issuing bank can inquire from Royal bank of Canada about the DD encashment by CIC but will charge some money for that service.

Got PCC from Bhopal in same day, I was confused to take PCC from Pune or my native place passport office.

Its always a good Idea to take it from your local passport office, else other passport office might delay PCC due to local police clearance.

Nice to learn that you have submitted your Docs asked by BDVO in request letter.

I have also done my Medicals and RPRF payment, now I want to send the docs to NDVO, but the address to which docs needs to be send is having PO BOX number:

IMMIGRATION SECTION,
7/8,Shantipath,Chanakyapuri,PO BOX Number-5209,
New Delhi-110021.

Pls let me know you have sent your document through Courier or Normal Post??

As Courier people and speed post peoplw are not taking it for delivery bcos in PO BOX there is no one to recive and counter sign on the Delivery Reciept.

Plss.....let me know through which courier you have sent to NDVO your Docs...
