Hi All,
23 June applicant, DD encashed on 15th Oct, have not received PER yet. So I called CIC call centre. After waiting for aprox. 15 minutes, there was some one on the other side. She asked me few basic questions to establish my authenticity and then finally gave me the news that my app status is "in process". Also gave me UCI and application no. as well.
Checked on ECAS, said no info found. Then provided my full name instead of family name and the status was visible.
The main page says "In Process" and on clicking this " we received your application on 23rd June" is displayed.

Is this as good as PER?

Need a small clarification, CIO received my application on 15th July and am waiting for CC to be charged.

Mean while i have seen some applications rejected or returned from 22nd and 25th July received applications.

Does that mean my application has been reviewed by CIO already and waiting for the CC Charge or is there still a chance of rejection or return of my application??

You need to click on in process where you will see your first line updated as "We received your file for PR on xxxxxx" that is the status of your file.

After clicking on "In progress", I found below mentioned line only. Why they have not mentioned about PER?

"We received your application for permanent residence on June 25, 2014."

when we receive MR forms email, it has UCI number for spouse and kids as well.

I tried using UCI number to check application status online but its not working.

Is it possible that we can track only with Primary applicants UCI number?

Dear friends,

I am still wiating for my answer. I received PER on Oct 23, 2014 where as my ECAS status is: In process.

My query is:

My wife is pregnant, and she is expecting in Apr 2015. Do I need to inform London Visa Office about the development at this early stage of my application processing.

If Yes, could seniors guide as how can I inform LVO about it, and what should I write in the query?

Please help answering my query.

CC Charged - 16th Oct
PER - 27th Oct
NDVO

I currently live in South Africa and will be in India between 16th Dec and 15th Jan 2015 for holidays. As my PER date is 27th Oct based on stats I'm expecting my MR to be close to end of Dec which is fine as I will be in India but when they request for passport I will be back in SA by then. I'm now confused if I should be changing my VO from New Delhi to Pretoria and do my MR from SA or retain it as NDVO?

Any suggestions?

torontoviadelhi there are a lot of people who will benefit from your information. Please share with us CIC Call Center Number on which you called. Also share what kind of questions did they ask you to establish authenticity. we would be really thankful for your help.

Did you send FDR doc or Bank solvency certificate along with the statement? Yes, I sent it with the application.

Please share the experience once you have done the Medical IN SHA ALLAH I will share my experience after the Medical. Pray for me. Praying for all of you on getting to the next steps.

I would change by VO in this situation.
I am in South Africa with my passport, I send my passport from there to Delhi and what if passport is needed in South Africa in the meantime for some unforeseen circumstances.
NDVO will return passport to my address in India I suppose.

But if PER is issued, then your file would have already made way to NDVO, not sure if they will route it to SA.

The first useful quote i want to post here that My Creditcard has been charged at 4:20 PM Indian Time on 28th Oct for my app received on 8th July, NOC 4011.

Sorry to hear about your case but still congrats for you PER.
Another thing you can do is to shout the name of your consultant in this forum to somehow blacklist him and will become a red light to some of the member's network here.

Also u can directly call CIC office.
As one of the members just mentioned that they will ask ur details and all to confirm authenticity.
and then CIC will let u know your UCI number.
you can always give it a try.
