Hi, Am new to this forum. Can someone help me which Payment method is better to proceed for applying Canada PR application :(
1) Using Credit Card of Standard Charted bank or citibank.. Is it Secure?
OR
2) Which INDIAN bank we need to approach to get the bank draft.. Does ICICI bank is fine??

Yes, CC is secure but DD is more secure

IF time, Go for DD that has validity for 6 months
If not, Go for CC that has international transaction limit> your fees.

Yes, All Biggies are okay for Draft. Plz check on validity and that should be 6 months.

hi guys ,

can you please validate this reason of not having birth certificate, appreciate the help folks, please advise if changes are needed.

• My Brothers “Certificate of Birth” was obtained from Indian Embassy in Vancouver, Canada as it's not possible to obtain his original birth certificate from municipality as my brother was born much earlier than me and in those days births were not normally registered.
Brother,

“Certificate of Birth” was obtained from Indian Embassy in Vancouver is fine if it's shows Father/Mother Name (as in his passport) with date time of birth.

People generally used, Xth class CBSE certificate for the same. YOu can also use this kind of doc that's available with you for the purpose

Dear Seniors,

I need urgent advice. Today I went to High commission of canada, Singapore (One George street,#11-01) and VFS for Canada Visa application center at equity plaza. They cannot take application from public. So Where should I send additional documents such as IMM5669E, RPRF...? I will use DHL or some courier service. Thanks and please let me know. Thanks in advance.

YOu are correct that these docs are to be sent to Local VO but via courier. They can't accept these by hand from public.

One of my friend has done the same as he lives near by Chanakya Puri and gone to CHC, NDVO but failed to submit

FBI PCC

I am about to apply for FBI clearance certificate.

I was looking online and it looks like that FBI certificate can be obtained through Option 2 below

The FBI offers two methods for requesting your Identity History Summary or proof that one does not exist.

Option 1: Submit your request directly to the FBI.

Option 2: Submit to an FBI-approved Channeler, which is a private business that has contracted with the FBI to receive the fingerprint submission and relevant data, collect the associated fee(s), electronically forward the fingerprint submission with the necessary information to the FBI CJIS Division for a national Identity History Summary check, and receive the electronic summary check result for dissemination to the individual. Contact each Channeler for processing times.

I called few agencies and seems like option 2 is very fast as compared to option one.

Does anyone know, if I can use option 2 and will it be valid???

Hi Friends..

Got a query, could someone be kind enough to resolve it.

I have applied for PR to canada under FSW scheme in NCO code 2232 and had applied on 01 Sept 14 and i also have verified that the docs were received at CIC sydney, canada.

My query is.

1. how can i track my application status (through which site etc.).
2. How much time would it take for verification from my present employee as i am retiring from my present job on 31 jan 15.
3. How would it effect the processing of my application if i am not working at the place from where i have applied and if i am jobless on the day of verification.

kindly help in resolving my queries.
Regards.

Congrats.

Having psoriasis is not a problem. But if in case your psoriasis is very apparent on the day of your medical, it is still alright coz the Doctor knows and is very aware that it is not contagious and will not be a threat in Canada.

Just get a prescription & Medical Certificate from our Family Physician that your spouse has psoriasis which is not contagious and that he is totally fit to travel or work abroad and also take a Medication he been taking. The Doctor will most probably attach that to your medical results.

Good luck. Hope this helps.

Thanks a lot for the suggestion. I will arrange for the med certificate from my physician. Goodluck to you. :) :)

1) You have to wait 2-3 months for the fee encasement after which you will receive PER(Positive Eligibility Review) Email from CIC with UCI Number. Through which you can track you application, till then you need to wait.

2) We can not predict the time that would take for verification, once you receive PER and after resigning from the current employer you could inform the VO through Case Specific Enquiry about the same.

3) Normally it should not effect once you inform your Visa Office through Case Specific Enquiry once you receive PER and after resigning from the current employer.

All the best and Good Luck for your FSW 2014 Application..

Welcome to the waiting club !!!!
