There is nothing to worry...Every thing is fine with your Medicals. It is the method of updating the ecas of the applicant..
As when the file received they update first line that we have got ur file on so so date...Then after initial check they update 2nd line that we have start processing your filr on so so date... After this they do all the background checks. If everything find ok they issue medicals. When they received the MR they update it in our ecas so that we came to know that MR has been received...then everything is almost done ..they will req pp nd rprf..after receiving all this they will finally update 4th line in ecas DM after issuing visa

Hi Raji,

Together I got the request for MR, PCC & RPRF. So, does that mean once I submit all the requisites the visa will be issued or any more steps still needs to be closed.

I think you get a PP number at renewal. I got my PP renewed in Chicago at Indian embassy. It came with a new number.

next step is passport request which you need to send on which they stamp your visa!

I have also submitted PCC with my file which was issued from local Police station. it is acceptable or any special format for this?

Hi All,

would you please share any information you have on the Nairobi visa office, specially the time it takes to get MR after PER has been received.
::)

Hi Friends,

First of all happy diwali to all of you. :)

This post is for all who are looking to add child name in application through local VO.

When i sent NDVO for the process, below is the main mail content i got as a reply from them:

To advise us of a change to your family composition, please send us a signed letter (the letter may be scanned and sent as an email attachment) providing us with all required changes to your file. The following information must be included in the letter if we are to make the changes:

- full name,
- date of birth,
- file number [Letter followed by a nine-digit number],
- telephone number, including area code,
- fax number, including area code, and
- mailing address

As we require your signature on this information, please note that your current family composition has not been amended in our records.

How to add your child to your application:

Important: Note that if your child was born in Canada or if one parent is a Canadian citizen, then the child is a Canadian citizen. If that is the case, you do not need to add the child to your application, and no medical examination or fee is required. You must, however, send us a copy of the child's birth certificate. You should also contact the Consular section of the High Commission of Canada to make sure the child has the appropriate travel document.

You will be required to submit the following documents in order to add your child to your application:

- a letter explaining how your family composition has changed and requesting that your child be added to your application
- processing fee for the child (if accompanying you to Canada)
- updated IMM0008 Generic Application Form and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse to include added child
- If the child is 18 years or older, an IMM0008, Schedule A and IMM5406 Additional Family Information Form
- notarized copy of the child's birth certificate
- copy of your child's valid passport(s) both valid and expired
- four recent passport-size photographs of your child according to the specifications
- if you applied as a Skilled Worker - updated proof of funds for number of family members to now include added child
- a “Certificat de Sélection du Québec” for your child ( in his or her name), if you are immigrating to the province of Québec (http://www.micc.gouv.qc.ca/fr/index.asp)

Copies of the original documents with original certified translations into English or French are required.

The required forms can be downloaded at: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

Passport-sized photographs must meet these specifications: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/photospecs.asp.

Information about the fees that must be paid can be found here:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx

Your child will need to undergo a medical examination. We will send you the appropriate form and instructions after receiving the documents listed above. Be aware that even non-accompanying dependants must undergo medical examinations.

We trust that this information will assist you in adding your child to your application for permanent residence in Canada.

From above mail i believe we need to follow below steps to add child name:

1) Once child is born we need to inform NDVO through an e-mail with attached signed letter about family composition(scanned).
2) When the applicant gets Birth Certificate and passport of child, applicant need to send NDVO the hard copies of documents as below:
a) a letter explaining how your family composition has changed and requesting that your child be added to your application
b) processing fee for the child (if accompanying you to Canada) - $150 or INR 8200
c) updated IMM0008 Generic Application Form and updated IMM5406 “Additional Family Information” form for yourself and your spouse t to include added child
d) If the child is 18 years or older, an IMM0008, Schedule A and IMM5406 Additional Family Information Form
e) notarized copy of the child's birth certificate
f) copy of your child's valid passport(s) both valid and expired
g) four recent passport-size photographs of your child according to the specifications
h) if you applied as a Skilled Worker - updated proof of funds for number of family members to now include added child

We need to send all these document to local VO address like Chanakya puri, New Delhi address in my case in a envelope mentioning UCI/File Number and other necessary details.

So as per my understanding, above steps should be sufficient to add child name in application.

I hope this would be helpful for other forum members. Please let me know if we need to follow steps in some other way. Happy sharing.. :) :D :)

Friends, any one from IndusInd bank DD??
am June24 applicant with DD - still not DD outstanding and no news from CIC?
I saw 27th June applicant DD got encashed..... getting worried...

I know of a person whose application received date was 13th June (from India) and had DD from IndusInd bank.
He received PER on 15th Oct (communicated to him by his consultant on 16th).
So, if you take this as reference and if you are a June 24 applicant, add 11 days (plus or minus 2 days) to 15th/16th Oct and your date for PER should be 24th to 29th Oct.
My application received date is 3rd July and again DD from IndusInd form India. I expect my PER by end of Oct or start of Nov.

Good luck :)

Regards,
Kishcanada
