I am 2013 application of NOC 2147 and got visa grant.

I want to ask one thing from 2014 applicant that is intermediate attestation necessary for WES process.One of my friend have got WES evaluation without matric board ?

Hello! Do you both want to apply under the FSW program? I am honestly not sure but I dont think you are considered to be common law. Please read this

What is you advantage for the both of you to be considered common law?
For tax reasons there might be some, at least if one is not earning an income but for immigration?

He said that his friend doesn't qualify, so he is trying to get his friend in as a dependant common-law partner.

And you're right, they aren't common-law partners.

Hi Guys,
I received an email from NDVO today and my heart skipped a beat thinking that it is Ppr mail. Then I opened and found that it was something else. It was a reply from NDVO on my query to them whether they had received my PCC which I had sent them before getting the MR mail. However in replying to my email they also gave an insight to the internal document review process. I thought it will information to all the forumites. Hence pasting their email below.

"Due to the high volume of correspondence received by this office, it generally takes several days following receipt to process documents and place them on file. The file is then directed to the attention of a processing team for a review to take place to ensure all requirements have been met for the application to move to the next steps in processing.

The application is now queued for review. Once the review has taken place, if any further documentation or information is required before a decision can be made on the application, our office will contact the applicant or authorized representative directly. Please be advised that all statutory requirements must be met before we can issue visas. We therefore cannot provide you with a precise date by which this application will be finalized. Until the review has been completed, we will not be able to provide any further information. Please wait to be contacted by our office."

Received the PER mail, dated 6th Oct 2014, through snail mail today (Took 10 business days to reach).

SS updated. Thanks admins for doing a wonderful job and all the very best to all the applicants.

Finally CIO responded to my email which I sent to them on Aug 27, after completion of 10 weeks from the application received date.

Your application was transferred to the visa office for further assessment/decision. Kindly contact the visa office in New Delhi for any further assistance.

Only CIO knows, SS can tell you only about date being charged, which is 4th Jul, if I'm not wrong.

No one has any ideas...however it could be mid of July or first week of July as per expert comments.It will be more clear if any 2174 charge during this time.
