Hey Guys,

need an important piece of information.... UNDER WHAT CIRCUMSTANCES IS THE PERM JOB OFFER LMIA EXEMPTED...??
my wife is an INTERNATIONAL STUDENT in Toronto and I landed on a Work Permit... Since the cap is reached for 2174 I have to apply with a job offer...

I read at cic that LMIA is exempted for spouse of International students.. but m not sure if it's applicable to FSWP as well.

People who have hired Canadian Consultants, can you please check and confirm this... would appreciate your help...

International Mobility Program
This program allows employers to hire or bring in foreign workers without the need of a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA). Exemptions from the LMIA process are available where there are reciprocal benefits for Canadians and other competitive advantages for Canada.

Examples of individuals who come to Canada under an LMIA-exempt program include: international students who have graduated from a Canadian school; persons authorized to work in Canada temporarily due to free trade agreements, such as NAFTA, International Experience Canada participants, some permanent resident (PR) applicants settling in Canada while their PR application is finalized, and spouses of highly-skilled foreign workers.

Hello everyone. Needed some help regarding:

1. How much Points I score in IELTS? how to calculate? My IELTS score is:
Listening 6.5
Reading 7.0
Writing 6.0
Speaking 6.0
-----------------------
Over all 6.5
-----------------------

2. Can I attach all color copies of supporting documents excluding ECA Report, IELTS Report, Bank Statement?

3. Experience Letter:
i) Should i (APPLICANT) attach original or copy of current experience.
ii) For Spouse, should I attach all experience letters (copies). And for Current Experience (Original / copy)?.

4. Degree : In my Degree Certificate its written as " Passed the examination held in December 2013" but i am working since September 2013. DOES IT COUNTS 1 +YEAR OF EXPERIENCE. or the experience is counted after final examination held.

hello, Everyone I would like to thank all of you specially all the admin people for their incredible support and hard work.

I agree bro!!!I came here in Canada few years ago as a student !! I did few odd jobs for some time to cover my expenses and pay the fee for my exams and certifications in Canada! there was time when I was under debts but I never gave up kept working towards my license and now I have jo in my profession and I am satisfied ! just keeping my fingers crossed for my application. +1 to you

Dear Century,
As you know, In case of NDVO, address shows Post Bag No. and my POD shows that they have stamped the courier.

Any of our forumite has faced the same issue. Are they stamping or there is any person who is receiving and signing.

In NDVO, courier are received by security guard and instead of signature, they stamped. So relax. Everybody has faced it.

You can't apply to FSW with this permit. But you can work under it for a year and go for the PNP stream in your province though.
