I just received PER!!!! So so happy! June 23rd applicant. DD cashed on October 14th. PER received October 18th! :) :) :)

Wow! Seems like PER rains. Congratulation.

+1 for updating spreadsheet.

As per the FSW 2013, it seems that NDVO has taken at least one month in MR and PPR... Do we have anybody from NDVO who has submitted MR and RPRF a month ago..

Also, as many of seniors have mentioned here that one need to land into Canada within one year of MR... Few Members have mentioned in FSW 2013 that they have received approximately 250 days in getting PPR after MR.. SO does it mean that they have only 100 more days to land in Canada..

Congratulations Dear

From which mail ID you have received PER MAIL and what was the subject??
Did you receive the File Number and UCI number in this mail only or you had it during your application filing??

If in your country to get a child's passport, if no signature/thumb print not required, then, to me, it should not be an issue.
Yes, that's what we were told at the time we applied for the passport. He had just turned 4.

Dear Seniors,

Can I renew passports before the MR exam( I have not MR received yet)? Do I have to send a scanned copies or physical copies of the new passports to local visa office?
Can renew the passports after MR? Do I have to re do the medical examination just because I have new passports?

My passport will expire in Aug 2015

Thank you all for your feedback.

Passport is expected to have signature of the holders; it could be actual (my old passport) or digital (in my new passport). For children, there shall be thumb print on it.

OR does the bar code in electronic passport act as signature?

I don't whether someone has already posted this or not. But an article worth reading :)

Does it mean that the passport expiration date has to be at least one year of of MR date? Did you recieve this email from your visa office OR CIC( not have PER yet) :o

The communication has been received from VO.

future_canadian said:

Thanks. Sorry to know your VO is currently just sitting on your file :(.

I think, it is country specific. In our country, signature is mandatory even for MRP (Machine Readable) Passport.

Thank you for the responses.

My passport is electronic passport.
There is no signature on mine.

Any further words of advice?

BTW, what has happened to the "Apps by NOC/Cap estimates" sheet that used to be in the FSWP2014 spreadsheet? Not seeing it show up when viewing it online.
