BJKT that was extremely rude of you !! I haven't given -1 to anyone yet. But saying such derogatory things about Ananjay, a gentle soul who has always wished well to people, who hasn't and is still not willing to give -1 to anyone, will definitely not be taken lying down.

-1 to you. This is the first -1, I am giving. Didn't want to give it, but am forced. And I am giving it openly.

Even I congratulate everyone for PERs, MRs, PPRs CC charges and so do many other members. Is this going to give us a PR ? But we are doing it so that people feel happy about their achievements and anyone praised / congratulated in public forum is motivated higher than what he would be by way of PM. And this is a medium to interact with people. We are not consultants providing free advice here. We are trying to be more of friends, having basic etiquites.

And even if you have any concern about anyone, there is a way to put it. Hope you are getting the point.

I know a very few members will give me -1s for this post, but I really don't care. I had to mention this.

Received my PER on Oct 16th.I have an update in my daughter's name and need to inform them.In the PER mail it is mentioned to inform the visa office of any kind of changes if available.My visa office is NDVO. Could you please tell me how I can contact them with the specific info to be updated.Thank you

Hello,

I had applied in June from India. Now I'm in the United States studying. I got a mail saying "If additional documents are required, you will be provided an address to forward required documents. Please inform the visa office of any changes in your application (e.g. birth or adoption of a child, marriage or common-law relationship, new occupation or employer, submission of an Arranged Employment Opinion approved by Human Resources and Skills Development Canada, change of address, change of e-mail address, change of immigration representative, etc). Please include a letter identifying what the changes are and any relevant supporting documents. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy of the originals." And since I have changed my address, how should I inform the visa office?

we will provide all necessary help possible. But we need to know exactly what happened here.
How did you apply when your points weren't stacking ? Did CIC clear your file and give PR ? How did they come back after MR regarding lesser points ?

I applied in 2010 as restaurant manager I submitted all documents with application and they reply positive. I was ask to submit IELTS after 9 or 10 months which I send upon request. after that my case completely stuck IN PROCESS for year long. when buffalo VO close down they transfer my case to CPP-Ottawa from them I received medical request in Aug 2012 and RPRF requested in March 2013 which I paid with in deadline. after few month when I don't get any reply from them I did CSI and I find out that they don't find any RPRF receipt and other documents regarding proof of income and job verification letter I send all that information and documents again to CPP-Ottawa and few months after they transfer my case to LA visa office within 7 months I get decision made from them. one more thing I have to add is when ever I get email they saying my case is eligible for the category which I applied for and suddenly come out with this decision is shock me. after spending more than 4 year of time they reject me only because of insufficient points.
my question is any way I can re assessment of my case or send inquiry to VO about the decision made your help and guidance is important to resolve my case. thanks again

Ananjay was congratulating for the PER. Whats wrong with that ?
Its true that Mittarpyara had some other concerns on VO, but irrespective of that, go and ask mittarpyara if he is happy or sad. he will definitely be happy as at least he has got his PER. VO change can be requested later. And Ananjay is not a paid consultant that he has to answer each and every query.

Pls lets not comment on others unless they are providing wrong info. Not giving -1 as you have not said anything derogatory.

Guys Optimist and Ananjay, you are doing a good job. Dont bother about the -1s given by few members who only want information, but themselves never contribute.
I am getting the -1s as well, but its fine. I have stopped thinking of +1s and -1s.

Though I appreciate spirit of the people taking pain to congratulate everyone, I also AGREE with you bjkt.
Congratulations can be sent through PMs. Only those replies should be posted on forum which is useful for everyone. Going through so many pages to find a single answer is really painful. Apologies as I don't want to offend people but it's just my take.

Guys, pls remember this is not a consultancy where you take information and don't tolerate anything else. All the seniors who are contributing here religiously are not paid, nor is this their responsibility or duty. If they are helping and imparting knowledge, what is the issue if they also congratulate people ?

Ashif had given +1 to every member who congratulated him for MR. Is this wrong ? These are only basic etiquettes. Pls try to understand. And if it takes a little effort to search through the pages, whats the issue ?

There are no free lunches. So if you want information from seniors, you have to accept their congratulatory messages as well.
