My cousin is thinking of applying in November. he had spinal surgery few years back after an accident and now he is perfectly fine. will there be any problem in medical and then subsequent visa issuing?

If he doesn't need ongoing care and won't foreseeably require any special ongoing care then medical won't be an issue.

Current Status

Just got an email from London VO, asking me to provide certain additional documents as under:

1. Updated copies of the passport biopage for yourself and each family member

Question: Nothing has been updated at our passports, send same? Why are the asking again

2. Payment of the Right of Permanent Residence Fee

3. Police Certificates for myself & Spouse for Pakistan & for myself of another country I lived

4. -Medical results (you will receive a separate email with instructions)

4. -Updated forms which are available on our website:
New Schedule A/Background Declaration form for yourself and your spouse. This form must be fully complete with no gaps. Each month must be accounted for and listed.

Questions

i. New Schedule A/Background Declaration? Online says the form date is "Schedule A – Background/Declaration [IMM 5669] (PDF, 246 KB) December 2012" Thats exactly what I sent? What new form are they talking?

ii. Passport Bio Pages? I sent them these before and there is no change to it? Resend? why?

iii. Should I wait for the Medical Request Email or get it done?


Please advise.

Pls send all that is requested of you even if its same with what was previously sent. Wait for your medical forms it should be in your mail soon. cheers.

I have been reading this thread for quite some time and have gained a lot of information. Thanks to everyone.
Here is my question:
I am an NOC 2173 aspirant.
My IELTS exam date is 22-Nov, so I can't send the application before Dec 8th (i.e. 13 days after IELTS date to receive the scores).
Please suggest if it will be worth applying that late? or should I wait for next year/"Express Entry"?

I have submitted my application for 2174 NOC and have received PER on 18th August 2014. My status on CIC site is we have started processing on 9th October 2014. Can anyone tell me till when can i expect Medicals.

Hello Seniors,

Good news, I just received Medical Request mail from my Local VO.
Just want to double check, what is the next step now.
1. Go to CIC disgnated doctor and complete the medical examination
2. pay the RPRF fees via link provided by local VO.

Please advise if I am missing any steps here.

What is to be provided will be mentioned in the MR email. But broadly what you have mentioned is correct, unless you are also required to submit PCCs

Kanika78 had dispatched her application on 16th June. She isn't sure when her application was received (she assumes around 22nd/23rd June). Her visa office is CPC-O and her DD was encashed on 08th October. Hope this clarifies any confusion.

I understand that this has stirred the hornet's nest, but trust me getting anxious will not get you your PER sooner. So just wait patiently CIC is not working on a FIFO mode !

does anyone know how to provide evidence like this?

proof of full custody for children under the age of 18 and proof that the children may be removed from the jurisdiction of the court?

The only way to do this is to provide the legal document (court order) saying so.

Congratulations! u r almost there

Either u wud have already got the MR email or will be there before u get earliest appointment, so just wait for it.

LVO doesn't know if something has changed or not (such as passport renewal or change in ur info required in Schedule A), they just want to make sure. Therefore they asked and u just provide the same copies which u provided earlier.
