Thank God and congrats to me. I just received my PER email now. My application was received May 30 and CC charged on the 16th of September.

Can I please beg Admins to help update my status on the spreadsheet.

I am a 16th June applicant too and DD from Axis Bank. Bank is unable to give any status yet.

It was Axis bank. I just went today to bank to check for dd encashment.but they could not tell me any thing. And now few min back i rcvd the PER. I also want to mention some things which might be helpful other forumties;
1 i forget to fill name in declaration of generic form
2 filled nothing into liabilties.
3 Used EPF ppf mutual fund, NSC as settlement funds.
4 DD was made on 5.6.2014 so it means it has validity of 6 months whereas guy at bank told of three months.

After PER, the local VO may request for PCC. So I think it is better to go ahead and get SG PCC if your current country of residence is Sinagpore or you have stayed there for at least a year. However, the local VO may not request PCC if you had included it in your application package.

They will not if the PCC issued date was is less than 6 months.

With my limited knowledge. .,. Funds in a joint account other than your spouse are considered as 50%.

I think if you move all funds on your name now, will not solve the purpose as you have already submitted statements.

So the only practical solution in my knowledge is that you provide a joint affidavit/noc from you and your parents stating that 100 % funds belongs to you and ur parents has no objection if you use all the money and are in joint account for ease of access only.

I dont know will it work 100% but would request seniors to provide their inputs. And if it can work you should send additional docs asap as july completness check is almost done.

i attached original balance certificate of MCB (muslim commercial bank pakistan) but it is not coloured letterhead.instead it in printed in black and white form and signed by manager with stamp of bank. signatures are with blue ball point and stamp is also black & white.i also did not get it notarised. is it OK?

How did you find that your DD is en cashed ??

I called my bank(HDFC) , they said they can not tell

I visited ING Vysya Bank....the guy there confirmed from Canada ...and told me after three days.

Has CIC changed the menu options of the IVR (0016139444000)?

Have been trying to get connected to an agent but all I hear is that 'All available agents are busy due to heavy work load. You may try again later'.

Is there any other way to reach them? They do not reply to emails in less than 40 days!

Its a holiday in Canada except NS... CIC is based out of NS >.. nova scotia ... so people can expect them to work .... nothing wrong with that ...

They are federal employees and won't work on Thanksgiving.
