I just noticed it yesterday. I made a mistake in the Date Of Birth for my mother in the form IMM 5406 (09-2013) E - ADDITIONAL FAMILY INFORMATION. I wrote 1954/09/03 instead of 1954/09/30. Will that have too much of an impact?

Sir Ji,

This issue discussed before.
Still, apply where you are residing online through Passport site. Charges would be Rs 500. They will ask to you bring Original passport along with poassport photocopy of front and back pages and current residense proof (Site will tell u).

Visit passport office at appointed date.

Afterwards your case will refer to police (current city police) which do enquiry and revert back to passport office. Then Passport office will send you an sms mentioning you pcc is ready please come and collect.


Vivek, this is tricky, they expect you to provide current telephone bill and one bill from last year...Why dont you apply for PCC from your hometown?

I remember someone responding to DOB query, not sure if it was yours. I dont think they will reject it for a typo.

i am not got PER till date .. may be may file regected.

If yes, retake and send the new package ASAP..The next available date in India is Dec-06 for IELTS, atleast till yesterday, havent checked again.
