Hi there,

While DD is deemed ass the most secure mode of payment, Credit card is a bit faster than DD and also we get an instant notification of fee payment while using credit card.
Please make sure the below if you are opting credit card as a mode of payment

1. make sure that your daily transaction limit is higher than the total fee
2. Notify your bank about the possibility of the transaction. Make sure that they wont block/reject it automatically
3. CIC doesn't seems to be in in need of an OTP/Pin number to perform the transaction as confirmed in this forum by others in the past. Please have a look at the 3rd query in the below link

Seniors,
I spotted again small inconsistency in my filled out form. In Background Declaration and Additional Family Info, I typed my mother's place of birth as "Koronadal City, South Cotabato, Philippines" but in my BC, her birth place shows "Marbel, South Cotabato, Philippines".
Actually, they are pertaining to the same place. Marbel became Koronadal City when it became a city later on.
Will this create problem with my application? :-X :-X :-X

Nope buddy this is not an issue for rejection,....

For this discrepancies --at worst case u may rcv updated forms at Local VO stage ....

So Keep calm....

As I have undergone medicals at Sadhu Vaswani Mission Medical Centre. They handed over to me same page with my photograph and payment receipt.

So now , do i need to send original paper (came thorugh mail and filled up by doctor) to NDVO.

Alhamdulilah! Allahuakbar! By the Grace and Mercy of Allah i received my PER on 08/10
Application received 13th June 2014. NOC 0311 (Healthcare Managers) Used DD.
I have not checked ECA status, can someone please send me the link for that and for updating the SS.
Where can i find elaborate information on what i should expect next. My visa office is Nairobi, Kenya. When should i expect to hear form my local visa office?

I received medical forms on 07-Oct-14, but no mail for RPRF and PCC yet.

and today my ECAS status updated with 2nd line added...stating "We started processing your application on October 7, 2014"

how come i on the same day they started processing my file and send Medical forms too.

A quick question,
While filling up the main application form (IMM-0008), what did you fill in section 2 for your spouse on the question "have you ever used another name"
was it the name (XXXX and surname) that she used before getting married
For your wife,it will be her maiden name.

Just now I realised that I checked box No, I didn't saw maiden name, only nickname and hence ignore that question.
Am I in trouble? Cry
