Can address on Birth certificate and passport be different? is that ok?

I was born at different state of INDIA and currently holding a passport on my current address which is permanent one.

Perfectly ok.

but i'm still wondering, how were you born in different states in India ? ? ?

Not sure how CIC will be able to verify this during PER stage. If however, POF is validated post PER when the case is with NDVO, they may request additional proof of who the joint account holder is. Just my thought, coz never seen such a case before...

As per my understanding it should be ok for initial verification.

I think it will be updated either on this Friday or Tuesday (Upcoming Monday is long weekend)

1. You can send case specific enquiry e-mail to CIC.
2. If you are a previous year applicant with UCI, You can call CIC.

Thanks for the reply. I am really worried because some applicants from the past have bad experience of getting NER for some simple reasons like copying the NOC words or not providing enough proof for their claims (like poor description of their roles and responsibilities...etc).

I tried to provide enough support for my claims. and if I knew about these experiences I would add more descriptions to my letters. however , It's up to CIO agents to decide whether I am eligible or not. it is totally out of my control and I have no chance to change my documents or add more details to them right now.

Need advice

I am 25th Aug applicant, NOC is 2281. I did not send BC local language photo copy with notary, I have sent translated copy with affidavit.

Can I send photo copy with notary now? what should I mention in covering letter, so they can add this document in my file. What a chance to get through my file without this document ?

Awww...my apologies, I was born at Maharashtra but since my parents relocated to Hyderabad, we been staying here since then and i hold a passport from my current location.

what are the chances of acceptance in NOC 2174 if applied by 15th of november.
i have done b.tech (CSE) with 3.6 years of work exp. and ILETS score 7.5 overall

Hi Brother, Dont want to demotivate but as per the SS and the current CAP, the chances look very bleak!!!
Try to match your job duties to some other NOC and apply under that!!

I applied for the FSW 2014 under NOC 2174 and 2171 and application reached CIC on Jun 10th. My credit card was charged with an amount of 550 CAD just a week ago( on Oct 1st ). Can somebody explain to me the process after getting charged?
