Hi everyone,
I've just got my passport with the visa! :)
I still need to do some preparations and I hope to land in Vancouver in about 1-2 months.

Thank you everyone for the inspiration and support, and good luck to you! :)

P.S. I will still continue supporting the spreadsheet, no worries :)
Congratulations!

IS there a way to track FBI PCC application? please tell
The only way to track the application status is when your CC gets charged. So keep looking at your statement.
I do not know if you can track money order or certified check

Note: On September 7, 2014, CJIS installed a new IT system. As as result of this installation, we are experiencing delays in processing. Please be assured that each issue is being identified and resolved as quickly as possible, but at this time we anticipate processing time for an Identity History Summary to be approximately 12 weeks. Allow additional time for mail delivery. We respectfully request that you refrain from calling to check on the status of your request prior to 12 weeks. For assistance, contact the Customer Service Group at (304) 625-5590.

thank you and +1. what about my other question regarding RPRF payment? can we pay by DISCOVER credit card?

RPRF payment can be made using DISCOVER credit card or it has to be VISA or MASTER only?
It is not mentioned that Discover is not supported. However, it is not listed as accepted mode of payment either

Credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) in Canadian funds only:

You just won't get points.

Be sure to explain in your application why you could not get a personal letter.

But note that the personal letter need not be notarized.

Thanks future_canadian

Don't assume anything on your own...send email to CIO‑Sydney‑Search‑Enquiry@cic.gc.ca. The response might not be immediate...

I was also saying the same to him. ok. Thanks.

Actually he is not working as database administrator or working in database. He covered the second part of that NOC.

So now the question is as NOC 2172 Database analysts and data administrators contains two sections. He worked in the second section data administrator and Thus he can apply on the basis of data administrator only as he can get reference letter for Data administrator part as he worked in it.
So, the scenario is this that He can show half of the job responsibilities of 2172 and half not.
so thus he can apply in NOC 2172 or not.???

seniors please help and suggest

I am also in similar situation where my current job duties overlap with NOC2281 and 2172 and 2171 eventhough I dont work as a Network administrator as such but my job involves working a lot with application software and also as a data administrator (which I believe is totally separate job from Database Analyst under 2172).

Why take the risk?
Try Option 2: Obtain a money order or certified check for $18 U.S. dollars made payable to the Treasury of the United States.
However, if you do go ahead and pay with Discover, please let the forum know (or PM me for sure) and let us know the status.
