1.)The ECA does not meet the following requirements:
you didnot provide us with the copy of the completed foreign education credential to accompany the education credential assessment (ECA)

argument against the above rejection : i have sent complete documents of my detailed marks cards of the university for complete education along with my application and original WESreport aassessment report along with the application.

Dear All

I got mail from London Visa Office dated 26th September 2014 to submit Police Clearance Certificate and Last 6 months Bank Statement.

I have a query related to Bank Statement. When submitting the application, I had provided Balance certificate showing the amount required in CAD as settlement funds in my account. After submitting the application I had withdrawn the funds and as of now I don't have enough funds in account to show as end of day balance required as settlement funds. I had invested in purchasing a car. I have enough gratuity to show as proof of funds and can do saving till landing in Canada.

How do I communicate this to Visa officer that the funds reflecting in my account are not the only proof of funds as I have additional backup (including Gratuity)?

I need your advise and suggestion to overcome this issue. Your help will be highly appreciated.

I'm not sure what a "gratuity" is but do you have it right now? Or some other settlement funds?

You need to demonstrate that you have sufficient settlement funds right now. Your last 6 months of bank statements will speak for themselves, but you can explain any transaction you feel requires explaining.

If you no longer have sufficient settlement funds (liquid and unencumbered) at this time... I don't know what they will do.

Did you send a copy of the actual degree (diploma/certificate)? This is not the same as marks cards.

Was it a simple mistake or is there some other reason? As long as you have fully explained it I think it is ok.

At any rate, CIC doesn't really care about the names of spouses or parents in passports. Passports are travel documents only, not identity documents, and aren't acceptable as proof of relationship. Hopefully someday you will get a Canadian passport and you will see no other names in it aside from your own and that of the Queen.

only my father name's spelling is just reverse means Prabodh, become Prabohd.
all other is ok means middle name & surname. it is a mistake in my current passport, I also missed when it was issued, only came to know a few days before I sent my application,
so I sent complete application forms with my father correct name also with affidavit stating the correct name spelling at BC, 10th & 12th class Marksheet, old passport can be considered.

I m planning to apply for new passport with correct spelling.

this is all back ground

does CIC counterchecks translations from their translators even though translation is notarized?

I don't know but it's safe to assume they will. Always err on the side of caution.

Ideally following three shud be included -
- ECA original report
- degree copy
- Marksheet(all semester/yrs)copy

Hi All,

As per NOC's list we have three sub categories for software field.

2172 - Database analysts and data administrators (DBA)
2173 - Software engineers and designers
2174 - Computer programmers and interactive media developers

Till date, the cap count for 2173 and 2174 are almost done(nearly reaching 1000),

but for the NOC 2172 accepted applications cap count is less than 100.

I am planning to apply for NOC 2172. So I want to confirm whether there is any reason behind this.

Kindly let me know if any tricky part behind the 2172(DBA) NOC, like CIC rejecting these category of applications for any kind of reasons?

What is ECAS - if it's online status check thing then how one can check online status before first communication from CPPO? I thought PER is first step from them in which you might get your application number and then you can check online status of application.. where am I missing information?
