Hello Friends

Today I got my PCC.
After confusion on when i will be issued PCC, i booked an appointment for today on 18th sep.
I visited the PSK(Passport Seva Kendra) in Hyderabad at 12.00PM as my reporting time was 12.30Pm.
Everything was well organised there. The security guard asked all the 12.30 appointment ppl to form a queue.
We were sent in for security check, from there to take token. I heard people saying that it may take 4 hours to finish off the process.
The guy at the token counter asked for the self attested copy of my passport, asked if my present residence address is same, i replied no and gave him the self attested copies of aadhar and voter id which stand as proof of my current address.
After getting the token i was asked to go to counter 'A'.
The waiting hall was packed and i was like sure that it may take around 2 hours for my turn.
surprisingly, my token number flashed in the monitor within 5 minutes. I went to the designated 'A' counter.
A kind guy asked to show the original passport and original supporting documents. Also captured my photo. Within 5 minutes i am done with counter 'A' and told to wait for my token to be called at counter 'B'.
Again, lot of people waiting at that counter, but i came to know that most of them came to apply for a new passport and PCC applications will be processed very fast.
At counter 'B' a guy cross checked all the self attested docs and send me to counter 'C'. It took less than 2mins at counter 'B'.
At counter C, i was waiting for my turn and the lady sitting at the counter rejected two new passport applications as she dint accept aadhar as recognized address proof. my token was called and she checked all the original docs and passport and asked me to wait aside(dint tell anything, i was worried if there was some error in my application). After few minutes a middle aged guy came to the counter and endorsed my passport with the seal and gave the PCC.
Really surprised by the pace at which things rolled there. got the token at 1.10 PM and came out with PCC by 1.45PM.

Thanks Asif for reply.. For PCC,RPRF fee any other id is there(or) we can include in the same mail.

I am 12th may applicant and same situation as you.... but unfortunately with due respect to all admins I have to regretfully say that questions asked about lvo are not answered quickly... hv no clue what's the reason.... how I wish my consultant would have applied to NDVO. ..

It depends on where you were residing. You need to go to the relevant police station and submit relevant docs (ID etc.)... In some areas, they have going rates (unofficial).... If you don't pay those rates, they make your life miserable. If you pay them, they will serve you as best as they can (may be in 4-5 days).

I think going through embassy will be the best deal as people in police station asked me for utility bills, NADRA verification slip, embassy letter etc. If embassy is taking too much time, just go to the relevant police station

Are you Pakistani?
The problem is that I am Iranian and I live in Iran. I went to Pakistan embassy in Tehran today but they had no idea how long it takes and never had done this before. I know its so hard but can you please kindly ask a police station about my situation and see if I came there they can do it for me?
I am ready to pay any expenses that it might have (unofficial)

My wife is using her eye glass and currently her vision is not 100%. Does she need to have it checked before she go for her medical examination and how will it affect her medicals/our application? What would be advisable?
