I too wasn't able to send reference letters from both the employers. Sent just 1 with two years experience and supporting docs for the remaining 3 years. I get scared from time to time. A bit relieved after reading your post.

1st of all congo to all who got MR, PCC, RPRF request from NDVO

i m also gng to receive soon...finger crossed... just one question abt PCC, tht today i come to know that to issue PCC it is not compulsaory to go to PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA, you can issue it from SP office also. is this true?

can anyone from Gujarat state (India) gone thru such situation? will NDVO will consider such PCC or it must be issued by the PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA only? can any one pls shed some light on my query?

i m also gng to receive soon...finger crossed... just one question abt PCC, tht today i come to know that to issue PCC it is not compulsaory to go to PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA, you can issue it from SP office also. is this true?

can anyone from Gujarat state (India) gone thru such situation? will NDVO will consider such PCC or it must be issued by the PASSPORT SEVA KENDRA only? can any one pls shed some light on my query?

Hi Folks,

Got the PER mail this morning.

PER received: 24th Sep

Application received: 29th May

Not sure on the next step. Also, I'm yet to send my PCC. Should I send it now or wait till the next communication from CIC?

Someone has already replied to your query. Please check the pages for replies before reposting (you've already posted this so many times)

In the CIC guide, it's clearly mentioned that PCC from SP is also valid. See below:


Applicants should contact the local Senior Superintendent of Police/ Superintendent of Police/ Commissioner or Deputy Commissioner of Police, the Additional Commissioner of Police, or the Station House Officer (Police clearance certificate issued by the Regional Passport Office are also acceptable.

In my thinking, if he has selected you out of more than 5000 or so applicants, then there ought to be a reason. He's certainly not connecting with you for a verification. So, you need to think over a common point between two of you.

Or he himself will let u know that why he's there with you.

Except for my wife and this forum no one is aware that I have applied for the immigration. Frankly I don't this it is a PRANK by someone I know. How does an officer know my LinkedIn profile is not a rocket science you give them all details from your birth, so its not hard to even figure that out.
