Pre checks usually gets done a week in advance .. so i guess sometime this week

PF has some amount of locking period (Say 8 years). So according to me it can not be considered as a liquid amount. However you can show the EPF as a POF...

2173 is too close...safer one would be 2172.

we can also get the form online. so no need to go to passport office i guess.

No, you have to go personally to Passport office after applying and paying online.

What made you say this? so you're telling us that CIC cap reflects applications that have undergone completeness check and not PER issued applications?

That is what the trend of CIC caps shows. It is impossible to have 700 and 500 PERs in the last two weeks...and I am extrapolating to CC/DD with a additinal time lead of 10 days..(based on our SS share of PER atleast!) All the best!

Why not go to Passport office chandigarh ?? Apply online and go with the printout without appointment. It will be done.

they are asking for a longer procedure to get updated as married first only then they will give. as i have single marital status in passport.

For education credentials following is manadtory -
- WES ORIGINAL report
- Marksheet (all years/sememsters) notarized copy
- Degree certificate notarized copy
- 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate (good to give)

There are many responses over this in last few pages.. I dont think this is TRUE.. You do not need notarized copies of Marksheet & Degree..

Someone else with PER can also confirm ..

DO NOT spread wrong information.Unnecessary misinformation will cause panic among the applicants.

Degree certificate copy is mandatory and enough , of course along with the ORIGINAL ECA report.

Transcripts/Marksheets are optional.

I am also here trying everyone to make their file strong. As you said transcripts and marksheets are optional. Last year my own cousin got rejection from CIC just because of not adding transcript in his application.
So again my intentions are that please add transcript and marksheet to be double sure..

As per my understanding plain photocopy of any credential needs to be validated. This can be done through notarization. When we are sending all other documents as notarized to CIC why not education credentials until or unless they are attested by the universities. But they has to be attested either by notary or by university alongwith original WES report
