If you can't arrange it, just print it in the A4 paper, 1/2 will cover in English and 1/2 in official language.

Urgent help needed!

In the checklist, it mentions that we need to include 2 self-addressed mailing labels in English and the native language.

Does it mean a plain A4 sheet with my address in two languages on it? (that's what I read on forum)

Or is it a prepaid self-addressed mailing label from UPS/Fedex/DHL?

Please let me know asap.

I have read in guide as under:
Certified true copies

To have a photocopy of a document certified, an authorized person must compare the original document to the photocopy and must print the following on the photocopy:

“I certify that this is a true copy of the original document”,
the name of the original document,
the date of the certification,
his or her name,
his or her official position or title, and
his or her signature.

According to my belief and knowledge, all photo copies should be certified? Perhaps I may be wrong. I request to Dear ADMIN to clear this issue.

Name of sister in law means sister of your spouse right?
Her name should be included in Additional Family information form of your spouse. Your spouse have too fill this form. Additional family information means all person including your parents who are in your BLOOD relations. GOOD LUCK.

Two documents are mandatory:
1. Notarized original copy of the translation which is translated by certified translator
2. Notarized photocopy of the original non-English document

Also recommended to submit affidavit by translator that what he has translated is true and actual translation of the original document.

I'm just confused...why would they pay for shipping the docs back to us.

You can have it on seperate letter, as long as it fulfills all the requirements. You can also have all the details on one letter viz, Name, designation, period of employment, working hours and job duties. if there attributes are on different letters its not a problem.
Hope i have solved your query.

Do we need to attach a separate letter (issued by the employer) describing the job duties in the application to CIC?

I received one copy of the report to my address
Before 3 days
There is no no responce from cic about the wes update and what about PER mail
I am blankly checking the mail daily but no reply

Hi puja, in generic form, we should include dependents including spouse and children.

1)For expiry date of NID in case of SSN, keep it blank.
2)Additional Dependants/Declaration Form (IMM 0008DEP) : You have to fill this form if you have more than 5 dependents. otherwise not to fill. It should be filled by Principal app. only.
3) You should not add any body other than your spouse in Generic application. Your parents children, brothers, sisters should mention in Additional Family information(IMM 5406)

What is the way forward. my application was sent to CIC On 29th AUG.

Can i send the DD now to CIC or somehow can i change my credit card number in payment method form ?

The above quote is in reference to translation of documents. In case someone has documents which are neither in English nor French, they are requested to send Notorized copy of original document, English or French translation of this document and a sworn affidavit from translator.

Simple A4 sheet will be sufficient, one label is in English and other one is in your native language. You dont need the labels from any courier company.
