Seniors already in Canada .... pls give ur suggestions

I am in canada for last 5 years. I was at Toronto for 4 years and I moved to Calgary recently. I feel its upon an individual regarding which place is better. As of my opinion if u have a will to take any job we can survive in any cities. But based on my experience I feel calgary is best since it is booming economy with oil wealth and after coming here I realised that it is very easy to get jobs here comparing Toronto.Toronto will give all the luxury of a cosmopolitan city with better weather conditions. But starting a career in Toronto is tough because of high competetion and demand. I never visited vancouer so not much idea about it

Thank You for your help,

So combining all the info, I should put:

Assets $310,000
Liabilities $115,000
Settlement funds $65,000
(30,000+35000)

I need to show funds for 5 people - which is 24,920

Currently I am making 70,000/year
and I live in USA for 12 years - so I have some savings. Car and bought the house with mortgage...
I have Certificate bank statement from foreign account & translations
I have letter from real estate agent showing the current value of my house

I don't know if this is not too complicated...

Please confirm if that would be proper, BIG THANK YOU!!

Hi to All,

Can somebody help me to fill Assets questions...

I have cars - value 45,000
Bank Account - 30,000
Foreign Bank Account - 35,000
House value 200,000

Mortgage on the house - 115,000

Should I add assets - 310,000
put Liabilities - 115,000

or not include everything??

The person who prepared me papers before just put:
Assets 80,000
Settlement funds 90,000

I don't know which way to go.

Please advise
j

I assume you are quoting us$ or cad as your currency

I would like to suggest try to make it short n simple
Give bank statement of 30 k and that will do

They are not asking ur funds for marriage proposal so just show what they wanna see..no more no less

Wish you smooth sailing

Congrats Ethan30!!

Hi everyone,

I am new to this forum.

By the grace of God, I am happy to inform you that my CC has been charged already an hour ago. :)

Date applied: May 29, 2014
Application received: June 2, 2014
NOC: 1111
Cc charged: September 22, 2014

Has anyone in here already charged by CIC (CC charged or DD encashed) yet application was rejected or returned afterwards?

If yes, please can you provide the possible reasons for rejection?

It should be fine.....major concern is of chest xray that too for TB as it is communicable..Don't worry :)

Not essentially nthakur. If you see the CIC website, its not just about spreading of disease, it also states about aliments which could put pressure on Canadian health systems. Like prolonged incurable disease, etc. Although im not sure, how they would perceive high BP. Do one thing. Can you redo your medicals. Go another day and get it done, if you dont mind paying your medical bills again. Just a thought.

GSW,

Yes, I am quoting in US $

So i should remove all documents (foreign bank statement and information about the house) from the package - because there were before at CIC...
I had package returned ...

Thanks

Hi All,

May-09, 2014 applicant for FSW 2014, got request for Medicals on 16th sept, Today I have undergone medicals and DMP recorded high BP 150/90. DMP requested for ECG and other blood test because of high BP. Please suggest is anything to worry about? I never had any complaint about BP in past, can high BP a reason for medical inadmissibility.

Thanks,

Anil,

You could have asked for re-examination and gone another day. It might be another extra expense but would have been better. Try and do it atleast tomorrow to be on the safe side. I think high BP should not be problem, but better be safe than sorry.
