I have submitted my application for FSW 2014 in mid of August 2014...
How long I should wait for respond...
What is expected post my application is accepted??

You can respond by 31st Dec in case you do not hear from CIC.

Hopefully you will get PER before that.

U should really stay optimistic!! At worst, ur package will be returned back home (CIC officers unable to match sent items with old apps !!!).
But, ur NOC is so cold that u'll have enough time to update ur file and send it again!!

Thanks for the hope......:)

Sorry brother for being a noob.. I stayed in another country about 2-3 years for work. So I don't need to give them copies of stamps from my passports?

Currently i went back home and resigned to give some time for my applications and family matters.. So you are saying I don't need to show any stamps from my passport?

Sorry brother.. It's not clear to me..

Thank you so much for bearing with me

Yes, that's what I am saying. If the visa office you have chosen in your application is your home country, then no need for visa stamps. Only the bio page of passport is necessary.

Hi All,

I am a June 2nd applicant and had a DD from ICICI Bank. I can see that CIC has starting charging June 4th as well.

ICICI Bank officers say that they can't confirm if my DD is charged by CIC. Is there any other person on forum who had DD from ICICI bank and advise me how I can know my DD charge status.

DD charge status can only be known by checking with the branch front office desk officer who has issued the DD or some other officer there.

POF - I am attaching just a Bank Balance Certificate.

Do I need to attach a COPY or ORIGINAL?

Copy is enough for now.

An affidavit signed by both parents are acceptable. No need to send the matriculation marksheet if it doesn't serve the purpose of birth certificate.

Thanks. I have sent an affidavit signed by my parents, however, I was apprehensive after I read one of the reason of rejection as SSC marksheet does not not have parents' name in the FSW2014 spreadsheet. So I just wanted to confirm from Senior forum members who must have heard about such other cases.

Of course it would have been rejected if the purpose of the matriculation marksheet was to substitute a birth certificate and it didn't have parents' name! But you are safe since you added affidavits.

Hi All,

I have worked at 2 IT companies in India but I've heard that none of them issues Letters of references (LORs). One of them is Sapient Consulting and the other is Infosys. May I know whether those of you who also worked in these companies got the LORs from the company or had to take the same from their supervisors/colleagues or the worst option that is Self Declaration (stating that my company doesn't provide LORs).

Please note one of these companies is my current company so I am bit worried as well as they would ask me the reason for getting LORs and might affect my employment and/or my upcoming appraisal.

Request to know from all you experienced people.

Note: Also wish to know from you people what issues you faced (if any) while getting the LORs, e.g. getting the roles and responsibilities on Company's Letterhead, etc.

Plz suggest if someone faced a similar situation. Any link to any related response would also be appreciated.

I have a question on PCC.

I am currently reside in Bangalore from 1st June 2008. Since birth till May 24th 2008 I was in Mangalore and that's my hometown. These two cities are in the same state.

Address on my passport - is my home I twon address. Passport issued center is bangalore, passport issue date is 20th June 2008.

Now will PSK as me to apply for a new passport with the current address (bangalore) ? This is my temporary address as I work in bangalore.

What's the way to get PCC without changing the addres on passport as I heard
People say psk request or address change on passport.
