By the grace of almighty I just came to know that I received my Golden PER mail which was delivered by CIC on 3rd sep but due to some miscommunication with my consultant nd their canadian counterpart I just came to know..... I was angry but now I m much relived nd happy. Thank you nd also this beautiful forum nd specially neel-here for their support.... Already ss updated but I made double entry so admin please delete it......

Hi AC - Yes, seems fine to me.

On another note, my line of thought is people from longer time taking VOs (like SGVO for example.....especially that take longer than a year or so) might be better off not worrying about PCCs upfront with the application, as most likely by the time their MR comes it might be well past 1 year so CIC might ask for an updated PCC again at this time, and therefore the earlier effort on PCC goes to waste. However, I am not sure if CIC does ask for new PCC, in such cases.

But I am very sure, they can very well ask that in cases where end to end PR processing time is far greater than one year. Just my view!!!

My application was received on May 29th, 2014. I am NOC 2132 applicant. When shall I expect PER email, if any?

I have UCI number, but don't see any update in ECAS too? Do they update ECAS before sending out PER?

I got WES report completed today & it shows as below.

CANADIAN equivalency summary : Bechelor's degree ( four years)

CREDENTIAL ANALYSIS
Canadian equivalency : secondary school diploma and diploma ( two years)
Canadian equivalency : Bachelor's degree (four years)


will this be considered as 2 degrees or 1 degree ( how many points for education i get ?)
I completed BE & Diploma in Engineering

22 - I take it you got yours 12th, then diploma in engineering and finally BE evaluated. Is that correct?

Andy says that the canadian equivalency of the diploma is a secondary diploma, not a post-secondary diploma. So it wouldn't fetch him extra point.

First, congratulations for charging your CC.

Since you are the only 0013 applicant on the SS whose CC was charged, can you please just throw some light on your application and status. We are very worried that the CIO is not processing 0013 the same rate as other NOCs.

Nope it was only diploma & BE..

I didnt appear for 12th. it was 10th(SSC) + 3 years of diploma in engineering + 4 years of Bechlors of engineering

Nope it was only diploma & BE..

Then you get 21 points for the Bachelor's degree. Your diploma doesn't count.

correct . That's what I meant ( ssc+diploma+ BE) & written in WES report. I thought 3 year engineering diploma was equivalent to same of canada.. is WES right or they messed up with my report?

It usually take 2 weeks to 3 months to receive PPR. Hope you get it soon. Best Wishes.
