I think in all cases you can send, nothing to lose with this email. They clearly stated that, after 10-12 weeks if the applicant doesn't hear a feedback, he can contact the CIO to check the status of his/her file. Just mention all your details so that they can recognize your file, (NOC, Full Name, Received Data, Person whoe received, ...etc).

Best of Luck brother.

Ahmed

Dear All,

I have already given IELTS ,have ECA , & all the required document + filled forms available with me , but now facing a issue before sending my final application and need your help ???

I went to an immigration consultant today & told me that I may not eligible as per my occupation Title. I then showed them my unit group 1113 that it is mentioned clearly mutual fund sales representative and told them that I may working in my country's biggest mutual funds Co with a track record of 50 years but they told me that my title is not matching with the group defined title - My title is Junior marketing officer but in industry it is considered as (mutual fund sales representative) there is a body that issues certificate of mutual fund sales agent as per the law it is necessary for all the person selling mutual funds to any client to complete the certification but still v less people do it so i haven't done it even

... the immigration lawyer said it is not allowed to apply with a different title even if your job roles are exactly the same as mentioned in the job description.. but Do u think it is fair I don't think so ??? What's your idea and they said that u need to get re-issued the experience letter from your Co. .... but I told them I can get letter re-issued with in bracket written as Jr marketing officer (mutual fund sales agent) but they said no. It will be hard to get such letter and my contract copy and pay stubs are all mentioned with Jr marketing officer.

It is also written in my contract that Co will make u appear in mutual fund sales agent certificate exam issued by institute of capitals market on completion of 1 year -in the last few clauses of the contract .

What do u guys suggest should i do ??? I am now planning to apply on my own but should i go for it or is there anyway else I can get the issue resolved ?

The consultant is clearly misguided. You can absolutely apply even if your job title does not match the one in the NOC you are applying for as long as your job duties match.

And yes, apply on your own. It's better to do it on your own than to rely on a consultant that clearly don't know s**t.

Hi folks,

I'm filling my IMM0008_3e Economic Classes form and I need help in the section 11, where we should put the amounts in Assets, Liabilities and Settlement Funds. I do have today 2 bank certificates letters (one from my account and another for my joint account with my husband), the total is almost 17k CAD. It's more than the minimum to provide as settlement funds as 2 family people. That's ok.
But, I don't have any valuables (like a house or car) or even liabilities in my name, but our car is in my husband's name and it has a loan to pay in 1 more year = 10k CAD (the car value today is more than 20k CAD). So, should I put the car value in assets (together with the bank accounts total) and the loan in liabilities?

This is what I would do:

Asset: bank statement + car value
Liability: Yet to be paid car loan
Settlement fund : bank statement
