Yes rent and house prices are on a par with London, really depends what work you do. A lot of people told me that Toronto was the financial hub,but my heart was set on Vancouver so I made the move happen. If your determined you can make it work anywhere.

I rent in Vancouver for now, once PR is sorted I will look to buy on Port Mooody or Coquitlam as both are on good transit routes and easy commute but cheaper than Vancouver.

A one bedroom condo could cost you around 300k and a house easily over one million. Rent can be anything from 1200 to 4000 depending on how bedrooms and if in East Van or kits

I was trying to fill form no IMM5669E(background Declaration) .

I find it difficult to include my address in in Section 12 (Street and Number area) . I find that only 30 letters can fit in that area.

1) Is there any way to include more details in that area .(Some of my address are quiet long)

2) In Personal history section in Sec 8 of IMM5669E(background Declaration) . , How do i use additional paper for my all 10 year activities? (can i print one more copy of the same form?

Another question

I am currently working in USA on L1A visa which is stamped till 2017. However my I-129S is already expired and I am staying here based on my I-94 which is valid till 2017. My Visa has "PED" mentioned as July 2014. So ideally if I leave USA then to reenter I need to have my visa stamped.

In the current scenario I may get landing papers in next 1-2 months. Having said that, can I land in Canada for completing the PR formalities and come back to USA on same visa ? I intend to complete my USA stay till March 2015 and then permanently move to Canada for good. So I was wondering if I need to extend my USA visa OR being travelling between USA & Canada, I can retain my I94 and using that I can reenter USA.

Your detail guidance in this matter is highly appreciable.

[size=10pt]I don't know much about L1 and what I-129S is. But seems that you have a valid status since you are still working. You can go to Canada and return to the US within 30 days without a valid visa using "automatic visa revalidation" if :

1)you have a valid non-immigrant status (carry supporting documents) and a valid I94 and an expired/previous US visa
2)you don't apply for a new US visa in Canada and
3) don't leave Canada for a 3rd country

But to use this, don't submit I94 upon leaving Canada (since I94 is automated these days, they won't collect it anyways). Just say you are using AVR for reentry.

1) There how do we denote present year and month or shall i leave it blank and hand write it as "Present" ?
