My consultant tells me to get it done from all cities where you have stayed for 6 months or more.. Please help me with this query guys.

Its for country not cities... You need only one PCC for one country... Consultant ask documents for their safe side... If due to any other reason if things will go wrong then they will say that I told you to provide theses these docs...

So, go as per the checklist provided by CIC...

is this mean no chance for 2173 if we send teh application next week?

As of today(Sep 8), SS says 87% of cap filled for 2173, and estimated date for cap to reach 1000 is Oct 6.

There is still chance for 2173 applicants, Please make it fast and send your application. All the best.

Hi All,

I seem to have made the same mistake made by this person in the below quote from another forum thread...
I had downloaded all the forms from the web somewhere around June 1st or 2nd week and used those forms when i sent my document package in the first week of August..... I verified now that there are mainly 4 forms concerning me that have changed since...

1. Document CheckList IMM5612 (August 2014)
2. Generic Application Form IMM0008 (changed on 15th or 18th June i think)
3. Schedule 3 Economic Classes IMM0008 Schedule 3 (August 2014)
4. Fee Payment Form (August 2014)

My main cause of concern is the "Generic Application Form". I compared all other documents and the changes are minor enough not to affect my document.

However in the "Generic Application Form" I could spot three main differences as stated below:
1. Under heading "LANGUAGE DETAIL", Question No. 3 is added for both principal applicant and Spouse, which was not present in the older form. (I think this may be a deal breaker for me, as it may be considered as an incomplete information in the main form ? :'( )
- Have you taken a test from a designated testing agency to access your proficiency in English or French ?
2. Under "Consent and Declaration of Applicant" and new consent question is added. (This i think should not impact my application... ???)
- Do you consent to be contacted by CIC, or an organization at CIC's request, in the future ?
3. The barcode's that are generated after the document is validated seems to have a timestamp which is different from the timstamp in my barcode page i submitted. (If they use a different barcode reader for the new app, then it may be considered as an invalid app right??? sigh!! :-\ )
- New format IMM0008_07-2014_x whereas the old format generated as IMM0008_03-2014_x

What do you guys think of the above...? I saw FSW 2013 and one of the common reasons for return of application there was "Applicant used outdated Schedule 3 form" ??? :-[

I notice that the new generic form has been posted and now is solved for printing issue. However, I have already sent out my application forms to the Canadian lawyer for review and they are ready to send out the package to CIC in few days time after review and sign.

Would that be a problem if I am still using the old form but guarantee it will be delivered to CIC before July 1? Or I need to update the form and sign again and courier to my Canadian lawyer for submission?

Will there be a period that both old & new form accepted? I am afraid even it's allowed now, by the time they review my package it's already mid July or after and they will consider my form outdated and got rejected.

Why they will use the term "July 2014" if the form is uploaded in June 2014? Does that mean they allow a period of acceptance till it's actually effective in July 1st?

Unless all the documents mentioned above are not in English or French, you do NOT need them notarized.

You can send PCC along with your application. If time is of the essence, you can send it later when requested by the VO. This is clearly mentioned in the Document Checklist.

It is advised to get everything notarized.... no harm ..just a few extra bucks to ensure completeness...

PCC can be sent later when asked for it. Sending PCC now could mean expiry of the certificate by the time CIC needs it. Send it when asked....

I had the same situation.
I would advice dont apply for PCC from Passport office as they had rejected my application due to "married" wrriten in form and the passport was not having the spouse name.
There are 2 alternatives. 1) take your PCC from police station you wont get any difficulties. and you will get that with married status.
2) reissue your passport first. then apply for PCC from passport office.

At that time I opted option 1.

We got the PCC with the name of my wife of before her marriage.
As we are providing marriage certificate, we need to write married. However your wife will have the name in PCC as per the passport only.

the height is the PCC says Mrs (My wife name) (her father name) (her surname). Hope you got this sign ;D

The later part story is, to get the PR card for my wife with my name as a surname, we both updated our passport. Now will submit this updated details to NDVO once I get the PER.

In case, if earlier PCC are no longer valid for NDVO and if they ask then again I will send them new PCC as per our new passport.

Yes i checked it before applying for FSW. Actually my wife is from different state so her name has to be removed from the documents like ration card from there and then added to my permanent address (this will take couple of months) and afterwards we can apply for new passports.

Have you checked on the same ? Usually it takes not more than 3 weeks. These days, fresh passports are being issued in 4 weeks time only.

Rather than doing that I would advice you to go for the Police station based PCC as that is completely valid.

I had the similar issue... I applied for PCC for PSK ITO delhi and the final validating officer asked me to get my spouse name added in the passport. I requested him to issue the PCC with my father's name as the addition of spouse name would take a lot of time and presence of spouse name in the passport is not a mandatory condition for the visa office. The officer understood my concern the sent me back to the initial validating officer (Check A) with the comment to remove the spouse name from the application draft. The officer did as requested and then, I was issued a PCC with my father's name.

I would advice you to fill the PCC application form with marital status as Single and it would work for you. They issue the PCC within a couple of hours.

Better use the latest form. I am one of those FSW 2013 Applicants who got my documents back due to outdated Schedule 3. Submitted my Application May 20 & got my file back January 2014 in which cap was already reached..

My current profile is as per below in Pharmaceutical company in Marketing Dept. as a Marketing Coordinator.

Do you think this matches with their requirement as I am confused for the same.

• Support the marketing team in developing & executing various integrated promotional communications &
campaigns including corporate events to achieve established annual and long term business objectives.
• Coordinate internally among the marketing team and the graphic design team to develop the marketing
deliverables such as visual aid, product - literatures, leaflets, teasers, cards etc.
• Assist in organizing various corporate events such as trade shows, exhibitions, CMEs, doctors’ conference
etc. and accordingly coordinate with the travel desk for necessary tour arrangements & with the graphic
