Hi, Do you have a business card of the team mate who signed, or is that already included? Ideally that is better than passport (PP) copy.

Write the note saying "URGENT: Addendum to application received on X date at CIC for Y NOC" although they'll anyway read your cover letter which will have lots of data to identify you like full name, DOB, PP #, App. Recvd. date, NOC, Country of birth / origin, UCI # (if applicable) etc. etc.

I am hoping you have already scanned these as well, so you can shoot an e-mail soon after sending this courier?

Cheers!

Hi Oscar7,

My mate has no biz card so passport bio page it is...

Yes, I have scanned it and will be sending a mail to these two e-mail add tonight.

FSW-Sydney-Search-Enquiry @ cic. gc. ca and FSW-Centralized_Intake-Office @ cic . gc. ca

I just wish CIC also peeks at all the e-mails upon delivery and to get my message for an addendum heads up :)

Seniors please help me out, accessing CAP fill please???????
I intend to apply in October hopefully. Preparing my application these days and will get it done by end of this month. I am applying under 1112 NOC financial analyst.
1112 NOC Cap reached to 460 till date. Is there any hope or should I go for another NOC option while not to take risk? ??????? Help needed

To be honest, it will be too late to file application in October. Try some other NOC if job responsibilities match.

Yes, probably.
the new express FSW programme will be announced in jan '15 and acceptance of applications under FSW 2014 will stop then.

Ok.
Which means that the application under FSW 2014 should reach them before Dec 31st.

I am also facing exactly the same situation, and 100% sure that consultant is CANAM. This people really sucks, since last 15 days I am asking for the tracking number and still haven't got it..even they send me the same halifax tracking number number.... really don't understand what to do..

In my opinion, they (ur consultant) may be using some cheap courier service which do send documents to big cities/capital cities (like Halifax) only , and from their they may use even more cheaper service...................so that "they" get more profit

I think one can apply under FSW 2014 until April 2015.

This is not clear yet. check this news article which says applications will be accepted till 1st Jan 2015 only.

http://www.cicnews.com/2014/06/chance-federal-skilled-worker-intake-caps-fill-063504.html

Last Chance to Apply

Beginning in January 2015, Canada will be transitioning to a new immigration intake system. The system, called Express Entry, will greatly change the way skilled workers will apply for Canadian immigration.

After the Express Entry system is implemented, individuals will no longer be able to apply directly to the FSW program. Instead, a prospective applicant will submit his or her intent to apply for immigration to an applicant pool. The Federal government, the provinces/territories and employers will all be able to select candidates from the larger pool and invite them to submit an immigration application.

Applying Today

The FSW program will be accepting applications until January 1, 2015, or until the overall cap of 25,000 is reached. However, many individuals will see their chance to apply slip away much sooner if their occupation is among the first to reach its intake limit.

Attorney David Cohen believes that, while all occupations appear to currently be open, some popular fields will fill up very quickly.

“There is no way of knowing exactly how many applications are waiting to be accepted for review at this time,” said Attorney Cohen. “However, what we do know is that the window to submit an application to the FSW program is still open. Anybody who is interested in applying should act immediately before that window is shut.”

CanOl. the ongoing FSW 2014 applications will run till the 30th of April 2015 if the caps are not filled. Express entry comes in January but does not affect the 2014 FSW if the 2014 cap is not yet filled.

I was merely taking a guess there - it can very well be incorrect

But yes go and sit in their office ASAP - that usually solves things better than trying to email / call and getting things resolved over the electronic medium

I know Oscar. You have really been very supportive. Thanks.

I am a banker and I can tell you for sure that the card can be unblocked unless the user of the card is the fraudster. Who told you the card can't be unblocked ? Tell me the name of the bank and I can try to help you.

+1 for the offer to help.... :)

Sorry, but the main reason of hiring an agent is to make a finest Qc of our application before having it sent! And ensuring all forms are up to date is a basic checks a competent agent should have performed !!!

The top10 of the Qc check-list may be:
1 - Application received within the CAP or not
2 - Forms filled were updated or not specially "Schedule 3"; "Checklist" & "Generic Form" etc
3 - Forms were completed or not
4 - Names in local language were written after printout or not
5 - Forget to write N/A in a blank fields
6 - Credit Card issue from issuing Bank
7 - Signed the forms at the end or Not
8 - Picture size was acceptable or not
9- Stapled the forms
10 - Document translation was sent or not

Hope CIO officer will consider your application despite this omission from your agent! As far as I can remember some fsw2013 have their apps. returned due to an outdated form. But I am not sure if it was the only reason of rejection stated by CIO!

Maple Leaf, a little clarification required. Do we need to mention 14,460 in ASSET section.

I mentioned below in my application, as my friend guided me to put 0 in Assets and said put bank balance amount in Settlement of funds, hope there will not be an issue, as I have already attached bank certificates and statements.

Asset: 0 ( I thought we have to mention any assets like property etc) so I didn't mentioned any thing in assets..
Liability: 0
Settlement fund : 14,460

This will not be a reason for reject, as CIC considers Settlement Funds is part of Assets... relax your app is good... :)

Thanks. Only we in this group can help each other much more than what consultants do.

This help / support needs to continue once in Canada also. :) :)
