I am in the US - so US card. JP Morgan Chase. I got a huge limit - so this is normal transaction. But i recommend you still call your bank. I did called to confirm and they said we don't have any restriction on your card. Better to clarify always. ;)

Which CC did you use? Indian or Canadian? If Indian, then which bank and did you tell your bank that your card will be charged so much amount in the future?

I am contemplating if I should give my Indian (HDFC bank) or US (Bank of america) card. Any suggestions?

Lol...If someone can touch base with him, kindly ask to put in a word for me too??

7th May applicants had not even recovered fully from the ordeal of waiting for PER and now MR anticipation has started to keep the head occupied.

CIC should understand that persistant tension might not be good for Medical results :P :P

Not sure about Bank of America but it looks promising. However, the HDFC is also not a bad card ...

To the PER recipients/senior members,

If I have my wife as family (but I have mentioned that she will not travel with me to Canada), will PCC be required for just me or for both me and my wife ?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks! I think I should call up BOFA and inform them in advance about transaction in Canada. I am worried their automated fraud check system might block the transaction. Hence I was thinking of using Indian card, since their fraud detection systems suck :P

Btw, congratulations buddy! Forgot to congratulate before.... :D

You have to save the link from the address bar of the Edit Response page. You possibly save the link from the body.

Well, the problem is the fraud detection system of the bank which might disapprove a transaction. Hoping HDFC will have lesser controls around it, but BOFA will listen to my request of Canada transaction and put it in their system.

Congrats Ashif bhai.. for completing 5000 posts :P :P
