Hi Friends,

I need help for my sister appln under NOC 1212. She got overall band 6 in IETLS but got 5.5 in reading and 6 + in other 3 components. She has given her IELTS 3 times but same results. Just wanted to check that NOC 1212 is Skill B. Cant she still apply with these scores has she still scores more then 67 points , even after taking IELTS points as 12.

No, she can't apply. A minimum of 6 in each category is an absolute requirement for FSW program regardless of NOC level.

Unfortunately It is mandatory requirement....you can help her get some coaching to get 6 each..

brother I m not here to break ur heart or hopes, but I was in the same boat last year. my app received at cio on july 18th 2013. last year cap limit was just 300. by 6th june the cap got filled....I mean those applicants whose app received at cio by 6th june....else all were simply rejected.

this time cap is 1000 per noc and total they will received 25000. some are saying to you that since total apps will be 25000 and some nocs only get 100 apps max....so they can consider it and may accept more than 1000 for hot nocs.......brother this assumption is totally wrong. last year the total app they want to accept was only 5000, and per cap 300. even though they never received total 5000 and some nocs only got less then 50 apps still they rejected all the apps when cap was reached for 2174 by 6th june.

this year there are a lot more applicants for hot nocs as people want to avoid express entry thing cos it will bound them to have job or employment offer to apply for pr. so max people are applying this time as last chance to avail fswp. based on reality....ur app is received after july 15.....I don't see it making this time......but yes I m not GOD...things can go in ur favor with even 1% chances and I pray and hope so.

I know what you are trying to say brother and I'm glad you spoke your heart ... Truth is hard to digest sometime, But you got to accept it as it is ...
Even in case of returning the application (cap limit) when do you think that will happen ??? so that I can try and apply in other NOC list ...
