I havent informed the HR department in my company as i have got the experience letter from a very senior person of my company bt not my boss as getting it from boss means getting into his bad list :P i hope u understand corporate culture :P ..........
So i was worried whether my HR manager will be contacted or the person who has signed my letter of experience ??
If I take into account our company's past record . No cal was received from immigration department nd pepl got the PR as well..........
So pl. throw sum lite nd save my sleepless nights.... :D
Usually HR departments of companies in INDIA do not issue the kind of reference letters required for FSW applications. So nothing to worry. Many applicants may have done what you have followed. You can take a experience letter from HR deptt and keep it with you and a copy will be in their records also.It will give you a satisfaction that you have also taken a letter from HR Deptt,Just in case any body checks with them.

Hi members,

some breakdown values as per SS's Observed Data (OD)
dates are approx. from major of apps data analysed.

Week 3 of May Apps
[May 12] = CC/DD - (21Aug) | PER - (27Aug) | Difference - (06 days)
[May 13] = CC/DD - (23Aug) | PER - (27Aug) | Difference - (04 days)
[May 14] = CC/DD - (27Aug) | PER - (03Sep) | Difference - (07 days)
[May 15] = CC/DD - (29Aug) | PER - (03Sep) | Difference - (05 days)
[May 16] = CC/DD - (27Aug) | PER - (05Sep) | Difference - (09 days) - either CIC got slow or SS is not updated
- estimated if by 2moro PER is received for May16
- if not week 4 data will fall apart as per below calculation.

Week 4 of May Apps - assumed from week 3 progress
[May 20] = CC/DD - (02Sep) | PER - (09Sep) | Difference - (08 days)
[May 21] = CC/DD - (01Sep) | PER - (09Sep) | Difference - (07 days)
[May 22] = CC/DD - (08Sep) | PER - (16Sep) | Difference - (08 days)
[May 23] = CC/DD - (15Sep) | PER - (22Sep) | Difference - (07 days)

Purely assumed data, on basis of current apps status.
Can this be a close one ? for week 4 people
Might be wrong - guys share ur comments

Nice one. Guess a variance of +/- 2 days would work out.

I can feel your anxiousness. I had the same feeling. LOL !!! :P

HRs in india usually cant elaborate the duties / work profile we require for NOC,
Seniors are the best who can judge well and describe the roles/duties, on letter head where u can get the senior/authority signature you can place his contact details, if more specific can attach a business card of senior,
in such case HRs are out of question, VO will contact as per the reference letter only
...cheers.. ;D

The exam is also there is november buddy..check this link.
http://madras.afindia.org/tef/

yeah even I did not write this for the same reason, I was anyway getting 72 overall.
And these guys don't accept DELF. I have a B2 in DELF. The Quebec immigration guys accept DELF but the Federal guys want TEF and not DELF..weird !!
But, I might still take the exam in November, just in case I don't get in the cap this time, I want to apply for express entry with the French included. It is not about the points, but it might open a few more jobs for us.

I have a BA Hons Degree in French and 5 years experience in the same language as translator. So wasn't too keen on giving TEF considering the fact that I will have to travel to Chennai for the same. It would have been much easier if Alliance Française de Delhi was offering this test. But quite a good move there I must say.

how this VO works hardly one knows,
i hv defined it as "V dont nO"

Hi, There are some things you can tell for sure and some that one can only guess. This is the latter!!! ;)

dear
pl. clarify.

1. as i submitted fsw for myself only i did not applied for my wife initially(later i wil do).
do i need to obtain PCC and medical for her too? even if i am no accompanying her with me.

2. i have two addresses where i live which i updated in form too.

Do i need to obtain PCC for both of he addresses.? they are within same state and different districts.

yeah man..I love french, infact I love speaking french more than english. It sounds smooth and sexier than English.
I have spent almost 2-2.5 years learning french and I finished C1 in alliance francaise. But officially I took only B2 exam.
French is a bit tough initially (especially the pronunciation is difficult, you see the same English alphabets but they are pronounced very differently).
But once you get a hang of it, you will totally love it.
The Rosetta Stone and other audio series will help you speak in French but they will help only when you are just visiting france or quebec as a tourist or some casual conversations.
I have browsed through some jobs in montreal and quebec city and other cities in canada that require fluency in both French and English(like an IT manager, a sales guy or other client facing roles). If you want to be at this level, i would say a minimum of one year study is required which will take you to B1 level which is what most companies look for !!

By the way, now I can give +1s, so will give you those which were long pending ;D

Aren't you one smart guy - good move!!! :)

How easy / difficult is learning a new language and that too a language like French? ??? Did you need to listen a lot of audio - like those Rosetta Stone guys do? I'd guess probably more in-class sessions would have been the way, with some audio may be.

Got a medical request today from my visa office (Kyiv), along with a request for an up-to-date reference letter from my current employer. No other documents have been requested.
It's totally out of the blue, I didn't expect Kyiv office to be so quick! :)
Will have my medical exam tomorrow.

Congratulations dmitrych!! :) One query. Did you claim points for the current employer experience? Could that be the reason for asking for an up-to-date reference letter from the current employer?

2. No, only one PCC from any add (which ever is easier for u) from one country...

HAI, First u go to Indian embassy. they will give you the PCC of India, then they will guide you.

Where are you in Saudi ? will help you. we sent the PCC with the application, not PER received.
