Could you pls tell me how you can check the creation date of this new version on CIC website. I downloaded it but it shows current date and time...

Hi Seniors, I am a 15th may applicant. One of my friend on same date (not in SS) got his CC charged yesterday.
Both of us have same time stamp and same NOC and appl recieved by Miller for both.

But still no activity on my CC. Getting worried now Is everything alryt or i need to do something?

Checked with bank , no transaction was tried/rejected untill yesterday. I also did a dummy transaction to confirm CC is active.

Can anyone suggest what should i do? Any contact no. of CIO where i can confirm if my appl is still there and not rejected?

15th MAY applicants CC started charging from yesterday only .. yours can be charged anyday from now.. It may not be the same person who is reviewing your friends case and your case.. so you have to wait .. Dont worry, be positive..

I am 14th may DD applicant . I have my UCI number from last years file. Is it possible to check the status online?? How long it will take for CIC to update the status?

U can check it buddy wid same UCI number via ECAS...

Seniors please help,

I see two check boxes for Fee payment in check list document, one is "Original" other is "Copy".

My payment option is by credit card, So if we check for "Original" only, i think it is correct.

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Yes. Thats correct. you have to check "Original" only.. "Original" representing Fee Payment form (and DD, if in case you are using DD as payment channel)

"Copy" represents below sentences
"If you are a resident of a country served by one of the visa offices listed on our website

AND

are unable to pay in Canadian funds, ----- ------- -------- -------
------ ------ ----- -----

Include with your application to the CIO a copy of your receipt from the mission as proof of payment.
Consult " ---" ------------ ---------- -------------

I am wondering what cutoff date CIO officers will use on August applications for the new versions , it will be October by the time they open August applications, if the new version is created on 20 August, will they take like 1 September as application receipt cutoff date(taking time spent on delivery), and applicants must use the new version after this cutoff date??

If I had written not applicable under status in country for backgrd declaration form instead of citizen. Does it matter? I have all legal documents proving im a citizen. Pls help, anybody?

Yesterday few 15-MAY applicants reported in the forum that their CC has been charged .. you can go to my profile and check the recent posts of mine.. you will see my "YAY YAY" given to one 15-MAY applicant who reported his CC charged.. not sure whether that is reflecting in SS immediately or not..

I recieved my PER Mail ...on 20th Aug 2014... Can any one guide on the further process and on the tentative timlines for Visa Granting...

CC Declined : 6th Aug'14
CC Charged : 13th Aug'14

You mean to say that if someone has a total experience of 5 years in a certain eligible NOC from different jobs and one of those jobs was less than 1 year say e.g. 10 months it will not be counted to the total exp of 5 years for points?

I was wondering does CIO accept work experiences below 1 year , at all?

I know for the occupations on the eligible list, the experience needs to be continuous for a period of 1 year.

Now the question is for non-eligible occupations (Even though Skill level O, A or B) does it also have to be continuous 1 year to be worthy of points ?
