Okay hold on...2171 is a computer related NOC... howcome, an accounts manager applied on this NOC??? I mean no one in the world would be dumb enough to read the position as Accounts manager and approve his job duties for 2171...

what i meant was if he applied for 2171 his designation could be a software developer or a programmer or a tester but his job duties should match the 2171 code...got my point?

It cannot be the case where in someone works as a electronics engineer and applies to finance NOC

@ Harka.. this is a real case.. He applied in 2171 category and his designation was Account Manager.. although his job roles and responsibilities were matched as per 2171..

Thank you!) The problem is that i have absolutely no evidence from that job - no offers or contracts(

[size=9pt] Hi, Don't hide stuff to cause a misrepresentation. But if you don't need points for this work exp. then no reference letter is needed. You still should give the experience certificate for having done this job (may be an offer letter as well, if you wish to) especially when once you have mentioned this earlier to Canadian agencies (plus even if you hadn't done that should not hide facts). Good luck!!! :)

[size=9pt] It might make sense to add your VO office in that context, would it? Because an Ottawa office for example might work very differently from a NDVO for example. Just to compare apples to apples I would imagine, mate!! :)

VO does not matter to me. I just remember that it was always stated that bank statements will be requested later on if you only submitted a bank certificate with your application. However, I have not seen anyone this year who indeed was requested to send bank statements earlier on. Just wanted to see if I missed something. :)

@Harka.. If you are working in CMM5 level company than you certainly have Account Manager or Account Executive who is accountable for all projects running under 1 client..

You misinterpreted the word Account.. ;) :P

Hi, I'm not sure what to write in my Economics classes form.

In work experience:
12a. identify the primary occupation corresponding to noc code. It asks me to choose 1 occupation from my list in 12b
12b. list all positions I've held --> however 3 positions here is equivalent to the noc code. if i choose only 1, each is at least 2 years each. What shall i write in 12a?

12a is the NOC under which you are applying.

12b are the NOCs of the jobs you have had in the past 10 years. At least one of them should match 12a, by definition.

It is not a big issue. Just submit your application. Never heard of anyone getting rejected due to this.

Shah2014,

According to me there won't be any problem if father has gifted the money to son. On safer side you can make a valid gift deed and notarise it. In India even Income Tax dept consider such kind of transactions as valid transaction.

Further, You must have sufficient fund required by CIC before applying and that fund should be free from any debt. In this case father has gifted the money to son and son have not any liability to repay such amount. So I think it will not create any prob.

On other way oscar7 is correct that, If CIC is spying this forum and they come to know that this guy has took money from dad and now showing this transaction as gift then CIC can take stand for this :o :o :o :o :o :o :o :o

You are hardly wrong, but on a serious note, my point is

Will CIC have any issue, if a father genuinely gifts required funds to the Kid, without any commitment or intention of having it back. I mean the guy has share in his father's inheritance, so what if he declares it to CIC? How CIC will react to it.

I know answer to this is tricky and won't be available anywhere but we can draw parallel from Student Visa, where one can show father's funds. I know FSW is for professional, who are supposed to be economically independent and not for students.

Just a food for thought!

Buddy Delivery Managers reports to Account Managers or Account Executives.. and Client executives are same as Account Managers and Account Executives..

Create a gift deed and keep it with you. in case any query comes in future than you can forward account statement with this gift deed. I have done the same way and it is 100% acceptable no issues.

So...my designation was not listed in there however, my job duties match with my NOC. does it mean my file will be rejected because of a different designation i hold???
