Ok let me tell you something. Last to last cap update (555 applications) was before couple of weeks if I remembered correctly. At that time they were busy charging CC/DD. Only 6-7 PER's per week (we know it because we tracing it). No what happened was they started issuing PER's for 7th may applicants last Wednesday with full force, and reduced charging CC/DD with 2-4 per day.
They kept issuing PER to 7th May applicant with full force and they were over most of the 7th May applicant in 4 days(Last Monday). Next update came on Tuesday which was 887. A raise of 332 in overall CAP update. Now what my common sense says that if they reduce CC/DD charge to 2-4 a days then it cannot give raise to CAP update with 332 application in a week. It is 110% becasue of PER issued.

Another thing lets say we apply what you are saying. Then 7th May applicant were charged before 40-45 days. There were around 3-4 CAP update in between but none of those update reflected your logic that they had received 7th May application.

In conclusion, what you are saying is Incorrect. Fellow forum member & Seniors can share their views on this.

I dont know if this makes sense but CIC clearly says it and the answer lies in their own words on the website. CIC clearly says "Number of complete applications counted towards the 1,000 sub-cap

and not "Number of complete applications".

Thus the figure is of the number of complete applications which have been "counted" towards the subcap of 1000.

So, let's take the 198 figure for NOC1112. If based on PERs, it'd mean up to 7-8 May. I believe there are about 50 NOC1112 applicants thru' 7 May in the SS out of a total of 150. So, does the SS represent roughly 25% of the actual number of applications submitted (50 out of 198)? Can we conclude that it is unlikely that someone sending in an application now will be capped out (if 150 in the SS is 25% or even 16-17% of the worldwide applications)?

I believe cic doesn't follow different rule for different timings , as my dear fren (Oscar) earlier said once cap reaches nearby they will adopt diff method and stop charging randomly as they r doing now.

but I gonna watch the trend closely now lol

Roughly you can say, Applicants in SS are 30% of actual number of applicants applied around the World.

Do you think Apps by NOC/Cap Estimates sheet in the SS fairly accurate? None of the NOC sub-caps reached for anyone sending in an application now? I suppose the overall number of applications CIC is receiving is quite modest. At this rate, nowhere near 25,000 by 1 April 2015.
