I am a 16th May applicant for NOC 2174.

While going through this forum today, I got confused with the line 'online review of the report by CIO' written by one member.

I thought the WES report (original copy) needs to be sent along with the application receipt for CIO for verification of your education credentials
Do the CIO view the report online also from WES website? What is this concept of online review by CIO of WES ?

What do I need to do for the same?.My service level is -Service Level: FSWP Credential Assessment

You are fine. Original WES report (using service FSWP credential assessment) has to be sent.
CIC will also be able to report this report directly online - no need to do anything further.
Hope its clear

Hi guys
I am 9th May applicant NOC 2281, and till now my CC did not charged so I think my application was rejected.
I am confused about what should I do
Should I wait my returned file and I am afraid don’t reach the CAP

Please, help me in this situation
Thanks

Hi seniors

Can anybody help with documents which i need to provide for adding spouse in the application.
Will be getting married in September.

After your local VO contacts you, you should provide updated versions of any form where your wife would be mentioned, background declaration and additional family information forms for your wife, marriage certificate, birth certificate for your wife, PCCs for your wife. Once you inform local VO of your marriage, they will tell you what they want.

Congrats.

Congo brother.

+1 for updating spreadsheet.

Hi All

We are a family of 4 and need to show CAD$22,00 in my bank statement.

I have few Qs regarding the statement

1. When I have to submit the statement, with the application form or at a later stage?
2. For how long I have to keep the money in the account? Can i withdraw after submitting the application?

Thanks

1. With the application, and at landing, and possibly in between at the local VO stage.
2. You can do anything you need to do with your money but don' do anything that would make them question whether the money is really yours. They may ask for 6+ months of consecutive bank statements.

:'( :'( :'(

7th May PERs are still in process, and 8th May have barely begun, so probably a couple of weeks.

who of 8th May have received PER?

Dear Folks,

One of my friend applied on NOC 1112. His application was received on 5th May,2014. His payment was charged as well.

But on 6th August cic sent a rejection email on his application instead of PER. He had full time permanent 8 years experience in two reputed banks.

1. 3 yrs in Citi Bank : This was his main profession In schedule 3 form and his latest experience and based on this work experience he applied in NOC 1112. He provided employment letter with full job description for this experience.

2. 5 yrs in Standard Chartered Bank: He did not apply under this experience but In schedule 3 form, He claimed this work experience under NOC 1212. He also provided employment letter for this work with job description. But the job description does not fully match with NOC 1212.He got only 11 points out of 15 points in work experience beacause CIC did not give any point for his work experience in Stanadard charted bank.

This way he failed to meet 67 points.

In his rejection letter as a reason cic mentioned as below:

"1.You were assigned 11 points for your 3 years of full-time work experience with CITI Bank Nov 2011– May 2014 NOC 1112, or the equivalent in part-time work, within the 10 years prior to the date your application was made in accordance with R 80 of IRPA.

2. No points were assigned for your work experience from Standard Chartered Bank (August 2006 – October 2011) because the employer letters contained insufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or a substantial number of the main duties of occupation 1212 – Supervisors, finance and insurance office workers, as set out in the occupational descriptions of the National Occupational Classification, including all of the essential duties. Self declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable evidence of work experience. "

From the above explanation it is clear that CIC verified the job descriptions both of his experiences. Does it go with CIC rules? Moreover cic told that he will not get the refund and his file back. This is also something which seems a exception of their rule. Is not it?

So far we know that we have to have at least 1 yr of work experience in the NOC we are applying and he meets this rule.

What he can do now? He is really down with this rejection. Can he apply again? Or it will be rejected again if he applies?

You get points for any experience that is in skill type 0 or skill level A or B of the NOC. The problem here was that CIC wasn't convinced that his SCB experience fit in under one of those NOCs, and so it awarded him no points for that experience. Thus he failed to make the pass mark. This is not contrary to what we have learned about the process. You have to show the experience to get points for it.

It is strange to receive a NER e-mail, typically they have returned files rather than sent e-mails.

At the left of forum member profile, you will see [Good] [Bad].

For +1 rating, click [Good]

If it were not for the Karma restriction, you would have been flooded by +1 ratings left right and center. Forum developers should do something about it, or at least put all the +1 one gets in the queue. so that they automatically get added once 168 hours are over.

These ratings are a minor thing, but there is nothing else more visible for people to express their gratitude towards the help they get from the forum.

Regards

Hi experts,
How much the NOC code is important for getting job after arrival to Canada as a FSW for employers?
I mean,do we have to seek for a job which is relevant to our NOC code or we can do another job?
Does any employer really care about that?
thanks,

Once you get PR and land you can do anything you please.

one more doubt is it compulsory to add the the spouse name in the passport before submitting the new data to NDVO.
