I have done Bachelor of Commerce from Karachi University (BCom) (2 years programs ) and then Master of Business Administration (2 years programs) I want to apply for ECA, As per WES website according to my country (Pakistan) required documents are“ All final or provisional Degree Certificates e.g. Bachelor, Master, Master of Philosophy, PhD”

My Query is should I attest only my Master Degree from HEC or I also need to attest my Batchelor Degree from HES.

Moreover, in FSWP Credential Assessment Application form I need to enter only last Credential (MBA) or I need to enter all Credential starting from Secondary School.

Following are my Credentials
1. Master Degree- MBA(Finance): Finance & Banking : from Hamdard University, Karachi Country is Pakistan, passing year is 2007.
2. Bachelor's Degree: B.Com Commerce : from University of Karachi, Karachi, county is Pakistan, passing year is 2001.
3.Higher Secondary School, Intermediate Commerce, country is Pakistan, passing year is 1998.
4. Secondary School Matric Commerce Karachi, country is Pakistan, passing year is 1996

U hv to get attested copies of degree and transcripts for both b.com and mba from hec in sealed envelop..also u hv to get matric and inter crrticates and marksheets attested from ibcc and sent directly by ibcc in sealed envelop

Hi dear if ur travel is just a visit there is no need to inform cic at this point... but if u have moved there than u will have to wait for correspondence from cic than u can inform them... if its a vacation than enjoy...

You need to get attested all your degrees from HEC (bachelor & master) and Intermediate & Matriculation certificates from their respective boards. Both packages you have to send to WES. HEC package you can send yourself but boards packages board themselves have to send officially. But I would suggest you to get board packages from them and send them separately with sender address as board address by yourself, it will expedite the process. (Remember you also need to send Board Certificates to HEC for degree verification, it is HEC verification requirement, manage your time and sending of original documents here and there.)

You can get credit for your HCA experience. If it wasn't a full time role it will be converted to full time equivalent provided that you/the letters make it clear how much time you did work. Example: 4 years as HCA at 3/4 of full time working hours would be 3 years of experience. So it may be worth getting those letters anyway if you can. Also, the checklist clearly states ALL employment, so you should at least make an attempt to get those letters, and you must explain in your application the reason behind any letters you cannot obtain.

As my previous experience was in UK, the only letter they are willing to give is a general reference letter confirming the dates i have worked there, and the designation. They will not provide a list of duties neither will they confirm my pay as i was paid on an hrly basis, which varied according to the shifts I did.

This experience will not count towards 3142 as i was not working as an physio but as a health care assistant.

Can you please let me know if a generic letter as mentioned above is ok? If not, what can i do about the roles and responsibilites, number of hrs wrkd, pay etc as I will deftly not get this information from them in writing. Plus i am in india at the moment, and it makes things that much difficult to get all the required docs from UK.

I also got mine issued in May 2014, its header has following format

The Govt of Punjab Pakistan (Both in english & Urdy)

Birth Certificate (Both in english & Urdy)

My details in Urdu

My Details in English

My address in English & Urdu

Sign & Round Stamp of Secretary Union COuncil (Written in Urdu only)

Although, format might be different for other provinces, but i don't think so as the software was developed by NADRA......... so technically only province name shud be different ...... although u can check it with applicant from ur province ........ if in doubt, better send ur Matric certificate as well, if it contains
1. Ur Name
2. Ur DOB
3. Name of either both or 1 of the parents

Dear Shah Ji,

Thank you very much for the info. Mine was issued from Lahore, the union council said that NADRA had started changing the format of the Birth Certificate to Birth Registration Certificate and soon this change would be implemented in other provinces too .. not sure how accurate is this information.

BTW, I have already sent my application with the Birth Registration Certificate which was received by CIO on 31st July 2014.

Huzzzzzzzzza ! with the grace of god, Finally the PER mail landed in my inbox, DD enchased on 2nd July. Hope the rest of the 7th and 8th May applicants will soon be receiving PER's

I suggest, don't use Birth Registration Certificate as no body yet confirmed it is acceptable. Or you want to be guinea-pig

I had no options available, the only document I could get from the Gov was a Birth Registration Certificate. I have already become a lab rat at CIO's laboratory. Will keep you posted ;D

Yes, no worries dear.. It will take around 2 weeks to update ECAS in some cases..
